Do they really need all that hair? How many wigs are these people making?
To make the girl feel "selfish" for "having long hair when others cannot" is just not right. Surely there are enough people having hair cut short anyway to supply "Locks of Love" with hair....without putting pressure on students to chop of their lovely hair when they don't want to.
yeah, of course! why don't you people actually donate hair to those children that you actually know that exist? they sell this as extensions LOL no one ever gifts hair to patients, even for a good cause, the real children that you're not helping actually buy their wigs, this is really stupid, do you actually think that 1/4 of the population is actually bald children because of cancer? because there is people growing and growing as if all children had cancer, wtf...

Actually they get hair extension hair from India look it up and get a good laugh at what Hollywood girls are actually attatching to their Heads! The locks for love hair is used for making wigs for children only some people try to donate hair shorter than 10 inches and that happens a lot! All that hair is what gets tossed
they are showing women with colored hair.this must be a scam cuz i thought locks of love didn't want that? plus they have to cut alot of the ponytail itself to get rid of the dead ends.
Yeah, it really is a pity. That Skye seems as if she is forlornly attempting to come up with a justification or rationalization that makes sense to her. Her hair was sensational before the chop. Locks of Love does NOTTT!!! need anyone's hair for the few wigs it makes. They receive hundreds of thousands of ponies each year, and make about 200 wigs. Do the math. It's a scam.
I am always amazed by how people believe what they're told. If I would want to donate, I would get informations on the company that is supposed to help children... Nobody seems to care about where the donations will go and how they will be used... Confusing...

Hair is part of our body and having it isn't selfish, it's something we work hard for and deserve to KEEP it. Her hair was so pretty too...but she needs to do research before she donates!

The way down, almost past her butt. She cut her hair shoulder length and donated it to locks of love. :)

Ponytails aren't even worth shipping and handling; more close to $5,- instead of hundreds.
That's why you wont' find masses of pre-stamped envelopes at each barbershop, or armoured cars for transport at these events.
It isn't a scarse commodity either.
The girl who was fond of her hair was probably better of by donating $5 instead.

These people really should research before setting up a hair donation event to an organization that is selling the donated hair.
What a shame. So much beautiful hair ruined just so the rich Paris Hilton wanna-be's can have their new hair extensions. pshh....
