  • after solving the 3x3 and 4x4 the 5x5 is pretty fun and almost easier than the 4x4 for some weird reason =p awesome videos and tutorials ..they are a big help

  • is there a version of gabbasoft compatible with a mac osx lion?

  • Anyone else than me using this to learn 7x7?

  • this guy is such a beast!

  • F*CKIN parity

  • The flpping algorithm doesn't work for me

  • Listen to how he says "and an edge here" at 7:46

  • I can solve a 5x5 with no more algorithms than a 4x4. you dont need any more. Pair 2 of the edges so that all of the center edges have one side paired, then put the third edge into place. its just like a 4x4 except you pair the edges twice. i have a QJ 5x5 and 4x4 and i find that they are much better than the V-cubes

  • Then when I rotate it up I can't match 2 edges

  • What if I have all the edges except 2 and the matching pieces are in across from each other with a non matching on in the middle.

  • I admire the way you do tutorials. Very professional.

  • Stop calling him gay!

  • dont worrie its easy after listen to it a couple of times.

  • Are you gay?

  • @carnet13 His response will tell you what?

  • dude you're the best cube teacher on youtube! thanks so much

  • thank u so much

  • @MeMyselfandPi Help! I have 2 Edges not solved. The centers are swapped between them. What should I do,

  • nice but please solve a 3x3

  • i feel bad u havent hiy puberty yet

  • @TheTechShit it does sound like it here, and this WAS 3 years ago, so im pretty sure he has.

  • @TheTechShit there was a time when you hadnt hit puberty so just caus people havent hit puberty means they cant speak on the internet?

  • Good video, GREAT tutorial... But your video made me kill my cat who was sleeping nearby. So thumbs down sorry... (the sorry was for my cay, not for you).

  • my rubiks professor is still ok although i lubricated it with baby oil and vaseline and it moves like your v-cube 5

  • @MeMyselfAndPi Being the idiot that I am, I ordered a V-Cube 5 Black without knowing how to solve the 4x4. I thought it would be easier to skip to the 5x5 because it had an odd amount of layers like the 3x3. Now my parents won't let me get another cube until March :( . What do I do?

  • @TrufflePop U should be ok, just keep practising and watch vids until u get it. Although it's recommended that u learn the 4x4 first it's not nessesary because the center solving and edge pairing use's the same concepts but there's just more stuff 2 solve, that's all.

  • @TrufflePop Just learn how to solve it. It's not that difficult. I've just got a 5 x 5 for christmas and having solved nothing but a 3 x 3 and a 2 x 2 before, I've solved it to the point of parity errors without any help from the net. It's not that difficult and can be done intuitively. No doubt when you get the 4x4 you'd be able to solve it immediately :-)

  • @andyf3fuk I learned how to solve it a while ago, as well as the V-cube 7 and Rubik's Revenge. I'm on the V-cube 6 now :D .

  • thanxxx !!!!!! i solved it and i learned the paraty algorithm !!!!

  • @scooterrider11100 Shutup.

  • And 5:56 right face side face, in black

  • 1:48 I spy with my little eye something beginning with penis?

  • LoL IIhave VCube 4 but the white stickers LOL.

  • @Rabbit1Cream there is no such thing as a v-cube 4...

  • @thewii552 I got made of WHITE PLASTIC!

  • Comment removed

  • @Rabbit1Cream There is no v-cube 4. But did you get the v-cube 5 in white or something?

  • @thewii552 No! I said I got my 4x4x4 in white! Sorry no offense.

  • @Rabbit1Cream ohhh, that makes sense. But it is not a v-cube. I wonder how good the v-cube 4 will be when it comes out

  • @Rabbit1Cream so.what ?white cubes are better

  • thanks man! im 9 years old and i know how to solve a 2x2 (i dont even have one i guessed your methode before wathing the video) a 3x3(pogobat methode) a 4x4(pogobat methode) a 5x5 (your methode) thanks!!!

  • I like how you talk

  • Great tutorial. But i want i want to get faster can you make a video on 5x5 solving tips. And do you know if there is an advanced 5x5 method? Thanks

  • LOL *found*

  • Great instructing skills, I would have find it much easier to view the Rubik's Professor only because this is what is most common and what I am particularly using to learn with.

  • lol at 0:51 - 0:52 what was the 2U for?

  • YOU DONT NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SOLVE A 4x4! I LEARNED 5x5 FIRST!

  • also @ 0:01 if you say no matter what go check the 4x4 tutorial you would never see this tutorial.

  • in my opinion no kinda hard to follow

  • MemyselfandPis tutorials are very good its just very hard to teach the more complicated things

  • Thanks! I have finally solved the 5x5 now! That was for the second time and that will be actually the last time I am going to do full scrambles with my Rubiks Professor I will just do outer-layer scrambles from now on. I hope to get a V-cube 5 soon then will be able to do full scrambles =D (NOTE: I actually was supposed to put this comment in the Algorithims for the Last 2 Edges of Big Cubes (advanced) D=

  • Thanks! I have finally solved the 5x5 now! That was for the second time and that will be actually the last time I am going to do full scrambles with my Rubiks Professor I will just do outer-layer scrambles from now on. I hope to get a V-cube 5 soon then will be able to do full scrambles =D

  • LOOK EVERYONE THE REASON IS THAT HE DIDNT DO AS GOOD AS A JOB IN THE 4X4 TUTORIAL, I REALLY RECOMMEND WATCHING THAT ONE FIRST BEFORE WATCHING THIS ONE!!!!

  • Robh0629 is much better. This is gay... And generally crap.

  • @wpotter240848001 Ya think??? YOU ARE CRAP (NOTE: Rob, your tutorials are good too if you are reading this, I even viewed and commented on your Advaneced F2L Techniques Tutorial and for the last corner, I went to Billy's tutorial How to do F2L, OLL AND PLL.)

  • @Nugwrangler Ha, troll successful.

  • I think this is a great tutorial. It really is harder to explain than it is to solve.

  • i dont even listen to him...i just like the pretty colors... i dont even like rubiks cubes

  • fuck you! stop saying very simple to do. It makes me want to punch you1

  • Fuck u this is terrible

  • 3:55 too complicated

  • @StarlightDeluexe if you listen carefully it is simple...

  • :01 closed because of his voice

  • @fredsbiggestfans4257 Gay voice :D

  • you are good in this tutorial because you have a clear voice and explain clearly

  • its not very easy to do!

  • oh my head its exploding... too much information...

  • this is cool, tons of the 4 by 4 algorithms I use come from memyselfandpi!

  • thank you for teaching me how to solve the Rubiks cube 5x5.

  • haha u ugly..

  • i has a KO v-cube but it's still good

  • WHY DO YOU SOUND GAY??????

  • i wana see the 1x1 tutorial it's too f**ing hard!!!

  • @kazzutokiller he made one

  • how to solve a 5x5-solve iner 3x3 and outer layer

  • your voice drives me up the wall.... XD

  • is a eastsheen 5x5 and 4x4 a good cube???

  • @Timps96

east sheen 4x4 is better, but i recommend the maru 4x4

  • so for the edges you can just pair 2 normally like a 4x4 and then pair them with the other matching edge

  • SO CONFUZZLING!

  • You helped me a lot.I made my own video on how to solve a 5x5 rubiks cube!

  • You helped me so much I made my own video on how to solve a 5x5 rubik's cube!

  • 5x5 rubiks SUX

  • @emoman777 no not at all. If you have solved 5 of the centres where else can the last centre pieces possible go?

  • isn't it weird that the last two centers are solved by just trying to solve one center??

  • @emoman7777 no.

  • hey I got another problem

i have an eastsheen 5x5 and it is so slow it'll make a beginner look like he is speed cubing and it sometimes gets loose

    can you help me

probably send or make a video about it?

  • Great! It helped me!

  • Although that you cut the video a few times, it looks like you're a good talker

Keep that up, maybe it'll take you far in bussiness hahaha

  • Your voice is ANNOYING u need an anouncer or something

  • im the 70707th viewer :D

  • meh sorry but i still think hes the most epic teacher.

  • im not trying to say memyself0ndpi did a bad job but he isnt very clear so go to robh0629 tutorial its much clearer

  • @SuperCesar67 actually, i like MMAP's version better. he goes over every case, and explains everything.

  • black is oppisite of what?

  • @emoman7777 yellow...although my oppositte of yellow is white hahaha

  • @JNeverMindMe ok thanks

  • Instead of grouping the edges at once, try to do a 2-1 formation (so two edges will be used as one, and later paired with the remaining edge). This will make your cube a 4x4 and makes it easier to solve. It will take more time, but still, if you're a beginner this is my recommended method.

  • i dont really think you learn, but i dont know about what others think.

  • This tutorial is NOT for beginners.. But seriously, who the fuck will buy a 5x5 if they are a beginner, anyway? Whatever, great tutorial. I just can't wait to get my 5x5 V-cube :D

  • i acualy think he is a good teacher

he teaches you how to acualy learn how to solve it insted of memorizing the algorythems

  • you're a good cuber but not a good teacher

  • @dandyboykb hey shut up. hes the best teaher. thanks to his f2l tutorial, i can solve the cube in 18 seconds.

  • @300SpartanX that's your opinion, didn't have to tell me to shut up.

  • @dandyboykb sorry, i guess i was in kinda a bad mood when i wrote that comment..... but he explains the stuff instead of just telling us the moves.

  • you need just a bit of basic knowledge of the 3x3, and 4x4 to be able to use this video as a solution for a 5x5.

  • @dandyboykb i actually learned most of my cubing from him

  • @dandyboykb i would say he's a good teacher, but not a good cuber :-) but that's just my opinion

  • @dandyboykb but he does a great job in the 4x4 tutorial and if youd watch that one you should know what hes saying

  • @dandyboykb he said you should learn the 4x4 first, so he shouldnt have to do much explaning.

  • Hey I got what u were sayin about the whole "move it out of the way and grab it" type thing but that's only cause me n u probes think the same way and that's how I generally explain how I solve my 5x5 but just so u know most people don't have any idea what u mean lol but over all I thought it was a pretty good vid

  • happened to stumble across your videos of the V-CUBE, and in one of them you have a dodecahedron on the far left.. is that available anywhere for sale and do you have a solution for it.. my friend of 25+ years had one way back in 1984, we played with for countless hours but were never able to solve, I do believe that he still has it. contact me via youtube CoolUnderFire.. thnx, love the Videos btw..

  • man you really need to be straight to the point if you are not going to use the rubiks brand then why say it?

  • better tutorial at OptimusRey 's channel

go to youtube . com /optimusrey

  • i wouldnt really call it edge pairing, should be edge tripleting or something?

  • I couldn't follow you at all, worst tutorial ever.

  • Can you obtain a V cube 5 core and I will purchase it from you. I dropped my cube and it smashed and the core broke. I can't find any place online that sells just a core. I have an ebay account.

  • @dapieman123 try cubesmith

  • dude i think u need to be more specifec when u teach

  • wow, I figured out how to do the 5x5 my own with my own method, and its is amazing to see how other people solve it... the good thing about learning your own is that you dont use a single algorithm. you just use your logic...

  • I got a 5x5 rubiks professor and it is really really stiff. Not loose like what you said.

  • @CubeShuffler you are so right...

  • u suck at tutorials m8

  • First of all who would subscribe to you man your such a fag your voice soundsssss super gay

  • 0:42 "and then the edges" LOL

  • @vanvanero click 0:42 rapidly and slow repeatly, it sounds funny rofl

  • @FuryPirate1234 i did LOL

  • slow down you are too fast

  • fag

  • is the V cube easier to rotate than an eastsheen?

  • WOW thank YOU i can solve the 3x3, 4x4, and the 5x5!!

  • Comment removed

  • his voice cracked between 7:45-7:50

  • omg his voices cracked at 7:45...

  • 2:23... is that a gay slap?

  • @MrPandaBull freaking LOL dude......

  • there is no way anyone with an zero understanding of how to solve a 5 x 5 can understand this guy... dood, slow down... it may make sense to you, dont make sense to anyone else. dumbass...

  • @Orange1445 thats why he said, i critical to have learned how to solve 4x4 before solving a 5x5. i know how to solve a 4x4, i can easily follow this tutorial.

  • sorry but i think you talk too fast.

I know to solve 4x4 and solve paritys and i dont understand the 3 edge parts.

    Anyways, good video.

  • u lost me ....

  • this doesnt exactly help without the algorithms

  • this is prolly a noob question but cant you use 3x3x3 rubiks cube algorithmims to solve the centers

  • @rockmann321yahoocom Since the corners on the 3x3x3 aren't corners on the 5x5 I find it hard to belief that it's possible to do that... :)

  • @rockmann321yahoocom Sadly you can't. You see, on a 3x3x3, the middle edge pieces never "change", on a 5x5x5, you can twist a side of it and it will void the 3x3x3 method. Good question though.

  • @rockmann321yahoocom Thats a good question. The answer is, sadly, no, because on a 3x3x3 the 2 edge stickers would be connected by the piece, but they can get sepperated from each other on a 5x5x5. BUT, if you didn't use any outside layers along while mixing it up (R,L, F, B, U, and D), then you could.

  • @rockmann321yahoocom It's possible. Hadn't thought of it, though. Nice.

  • I love how you say "Like normally" lol

  • 5*5 for mazochistic individulals only. The fastest way to solve it to get a screwdriver..

  • @ColdSpring1984 I guess you have no idea how to solve it then? I mean, anyone intelligent person could tell you that it is faster to solve it than to take it apart.

  • @Yamikiri not always. I can solve it faster then I could take it apart and reassemble it, and I can only solve the 3x3 in 1m 30s.

  • @ColdSpring1984 no, people can solve this thing in less then 2 minutes.

  • OMGOGMGOMGMOOGGMGOMGOMGOOMGOMGMOGMGMOMOGMOGOMGMOGMOMOGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMMOGMOGMOGOGOMGOMOMGOMGOMGMOOMGG I LOVE U SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH <3 <3 <3 <3

  • Is eastsheen rubic's cube good?

  • @goztrexwtha yep =D

  • you kind of rush through your videos sometimes

  • oh. what software do u use for video editing?

  • Hi. I just learnt the 4x4 and got an Eastsheen which is sweet. I have not tried a V cube, would you recommend an Eastsheen 5x5 or a V 5x5? What is the full name for the V cube? I am getting very addicted to the meditative qualities of cube solving. Nice video by the way. Any advice wuild be much appreciated.

  • @oojama9 its just the V Cube. the inventors last name in Verdes. The V Cubes are much better than Eastsheen cubes

  • wat happened 2 ya gay talk at the start "Its time 2 learn how to solve a rubiks cube"

  • @DarkestDays24 Go away.

  • fantastic tutorial! I've never bothered to attempt a 4x4, I received the 5x5 as a gift and the unsolved cube has been collecting dust for quite a few months now. Concidering that this is the first time I picked up the cube and was successfull in solving it in about 30 minutes as I watched the tutorials, I'd say that this is one of the best tutorials on youtube. (especially because of the lack of references to a 4x4 solve, like every other tutorial I found) thanks!!

    -mike

  • @twoofakindmagic 5x5 v-cube is the best 5x5 out there

  • @dozerislife out where?

  • @SwissCheese707 in the market...

  • @dozerislife oh cool

  • i have one triple edge left and it has the middle edge flipped what do i do now?
