Clearly the critics of the M3 on this post know nothing about cars. The fight the M3 packs considering the 4.0 compared to a 6.3 is incredible, if you know anything about cars the Merc is a terrible form of such a massive engine and the M3 is ahead of its time and still standing its ground has it always has done.
Don't know why you people get saying C63 - it's obviously a CL63. CL. Not C. C63 is a sedan, four doors only ... smaller engine, as well. Two completely different cars, and a completely unfair race, as the CL's engine is monstrously more powerful. Not in the same class as the M3.
@joshlespaul1952 The engine is the same, just a bit detuned. The CL is also considerably heavier. Yes, it's got 100 ponies more than the M3 but it also weighs 300kg more.
@a19420 i wopuld buy sedan e90 m3 put ess supercharger, than you whatch your pants, coz you going to shit in that amg csl, 600 bhp and easy weight, this cls is no fun to drive even, i mean you cant have fun with it, BMW FTW!!!

@lay4life i agree the merc is a family car for comfort ,safety,etc...but is more faster then bmw or audi sport cars...plus a stock sl65 black series beats(even if has more weight) the shit out of your stock m3 csl or any time, or a stock rs6...not to mention the slr amg or the sls...the beemer beats the merc only on the track and thats because of the benzo`s weight...peace!
