I'm not from Miami, I'm from the Tampa Bay area but am highly familiar with Miami and I now live in Houston and I like it MUCH better.

FL is overrated. People that isn't from the state thinks it's the best and it's sooo cool and they wish they lived there, but honestly, it's plain and boring and often over-crowded with tourists. I do like Miami better than Tampa but I still agree with what you said.

By the way I was in Atl. about 3 weeks ago and loved it! The Midtown/Buckhead area is nice.
