  • Hey there, my beading guru, question for you, I thought i noticed your base of peyote beads was more than just a peyote single layer. Did you double it up or were my eyes playing tricks on me. I'm talking about before any fringe were added to that gorgeous bracelet. I just have to tell you , you are so frickin funny and talented!!!

  • @goodboyrg21 Its just a single strip of peyote. Wish I could see what you do, though! ;)

  • I love this and how easy it is. How did you end it though and what kind of finishing did you use?

  • @SweetLotusCreations Finishing is up to you, but I used a beaded toggle, which is my favorite. I have a tut for that as well.

  • I JUST finished mine...I'm soo happy!! Right on time, actually! Mothers' day is this sunday...

One thing tough, maybe you can help me out. The bracelet kinda starts to curve and I can't make it lay completely flat. What could I do?

  • @fandelesluthiers A few of mine do that, and I think its a tension issue. Doesn't bother me at all, they still wear beautifully.

  • @tsummerlee Yeah, I thought so. I do have a tendency to pull tight on eeeveeerythiiing. No it doesn't bother, it's just that it seemed weird xD, and in any case, my mom would probably say that she doesn't care because she doesn't even know how to make it. LOL.

  • how do you make the base that you started off with?

  • @xoxodancer45 The base is just a strip of peyote made to be as long as your wrist, or as long as you wish.

  • My mother saw the bracelet on your video and I told her I was going to make a pendant with this technique and she automatically asked me to make her a bracelet using black and pewter haha, I'll have a lot of work to do

  • @fandelesluthiers

    Oooooooooooooooooo!

  • What a cool trick! Thank you for sharing with us hun! LOVE IT!!! XOXOX

  • @digsart I do enjoy it, thanks!

  • Absolutely Beautiful!!! I also do beadwork & I know firsthand how much time and effort goes into something like this. Thanks so much for sharing it. :)

  • @KraftyKatsy

    Girrrrrrl, you know it.

  • It's not as hard as I thought! I just got a few swarovski crystals, I might try this with those, though I don't think I have enough for a full bracelet...do you think a pendant with this technique would look good??

Great tutorial by the way ;D

  • @fandelesluthiers

Oh sure! I'm thinking the little ones would be adorable in a little girl's hair.

  • @tsummerlee Great! Then I'll try that :), thanks!!

  • Gracias =P
