  • Pinoy can do that, we use carabaos to move such a thing...

  • The "Good Idea Fairy" that is great!! Whether SF or Rangers, those Special Ops guys are hilarious.

  • "the mission is to find a method to transport the barrell to a destination" think outside the box guys. you dont need the apparatus just roll the freakin barrell lol. Mission Accomplished :)

  • @SuperReptus Does High explosive liqued mean anything to you? Then roll that through the swamp and see how that works out for you.

  • @Radion561 team 4 did it idiot. ;)

  • @SuperReptus They said they would have to if they couldent kiddo.

  • @Radion561 and they couldnt lol

  • "if they knew what was coming up...they'd shut their mouth"

  • @jonnyhollywood11 *No Homo*

  • @JDPKRevolution hahahha

  • oh man, memories! has anyone else here been through selections? does anyone remember the cadre in the video?

  • 07:09

    "Holy crap!"

    *A candidate is run over*

    i lold so hard

  • Voice over: If they new what was coming up they would 'Shut There Mouths!! :D lol

  • Chuck Norris would carry the barrel for his team.

  • @jesoby lol

  • @jesoby No, Chuck Norris would carry the team, and the barrel. :P

  • they all look skinny and not that tough imo. but they obviously are..just sayin

  • We are fortunate to have these videos. If anyone wants to join Army SFG watch these, you won't be dropping as much. Much respect to all Armed Forces around the world(Not including the bad guys) and thank you all for your service.

  • @TheCcorbin666 Being in good shape for the military is different from being big and buff. Being lean is probably their best attribute. Skinny guys do much better than big buff guys. It's pretty cool to see how the military has their own body type.

  • @SkylerCowley I would prefer a lean man over a big one

  • they should tie all the wheels together at the back ---OOOO---

  • @Thevide0123 Yeah the only one that worked had that set up.

  • These guys could probably pass for the Roman Army 2,000 years ago.

  • @Chris6134 No, timetravel aint possible.

  • @iRhymeWithHeaven How do you know ? I meant to say these guys are tough enough to have done well as Roman soldiers IF THEY HAD been there.

  • @Chris6134

Actually, getting into the Roman army was easier.

The problem was that the training, and sometimes, the trials, were more likely to actually kill you.

Plus, if you went pre christian Rome, before they started losing, you'd be under the commander of some pretty sick psychos :P

  • @SinerAthin yes and so true. That was a very rough time.

  • "In the army, you have the good idea fairy. And when the good idea fairy shows up, and comes up with ideas that...... aren't so good"

  • why cant they say hooah

  • @MMAMarinecore3

That is not what he said, basically he just told him that this is an of limit zone or AO. "A no hooah zone."

  • TEAM FOUR IS THA BEST EVAH!

  • I have a question: what exactly is the General Technical score, and how do you get a good score on it?

  • @papacharlie123

When you take the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) the General Technical (GT) score is based on specific questions within the test itself. It covers Sum of Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension, scaled (also known as VE) and Arithmetic Reasoning (also known as AR).

TL;DR General Technical score tells everyone if you're decently good and coherent with numbers, sentence structure and basic understanding of dynamics of everyday life.

  • @Tokikonae Thanks for the help man. I got 329 on that section so I'm feeling pretty good.

  • Surprise. Americans failing at something that involves some logic.

  • @Wilmott1992 You go through days of intense physical training on almost no sleep and see if you can think straight.

  • @Wilmott1992 Says the keyboard warrior.

  • I love how even the narrator is tough talking the candidates "if they knew what was coming up the would shut there mouths" haha

  • if i was in the army id do this but im a marine and recon and marsoc does it for me :D

  • @XoSiCoX SF training is longer and harder than marsoc.

  • @spiderguy61289 im not army like i said im a marine

  • 2 people obviously couldn't be good idea fairies

  • Nots not entirely true. Some people luck out the whole time as followers and never have to lead. I got chance to lead with the Jeep push...which STINKS.

  • 2:50 Ingenuity baby,ingenuity *EPIC FAIL* LOL

  • @wisewarriormuzic EGO's RUNNING WILD

  • team 4 fails

  • ah, good ol' Good Idea Fairy. The detriment to all in a command position.

  • Our method? we called it the doggystyle with someone holding the big stick in the back, figure it out

  • The name "Gomer Pyle" keeps coming to mind.....

  • I would want to be number 117

  • @PreciseArrow1 haha

  • why not just roll the barrel...

  • @Nordex11 its to train them to transport highly explosive or dangerous chemicals... would you roll something like that?

  • @Nordex11

    cuz its 400 pounds?

  • hummm.... amazing how this land navigation stuff works! SFC Carillo

  • I like how when team one fucks themselves on navigating SFC carillo is just waiting at the intersection.... Waiting on you candidate.

  • it sucks to be team 4

  • does anyone know if this is similar to AF selection?

  • @MSkinner1965 SF training lasts for another 2 years after this. Watch "Surviving the Cut - US Air Force Pararescue". It's not nearly as difficult as this. /watch?v=-3UlAzD5d0E

  • @SmokeyCough I thought this was the Selection process they go thru and not everyone gets in. Are you AF?

  • A side note as a requirement the spec. Ops. Go through ranger training as well.

  • dude sfc shanahan looks like a total badass

  • @esliang correction, he is a total badass

  • Where's my good idea fairy?? LOL

  • If they put real explosive liquid in those barrels.......BOOOM....SF asessor: ok, we have another team that failed the course... xD

  • @vikingtrev stfu

  • @vikingtrev Because you know everything don't you!?

  • 6:07

    fucking stupid!

you look at your map and you know you have to take a left...

if you atleast looked once at the map you know you shouldnt go to the right

  • Damn, this one is harder than the navy seals almost

  • green berets and seals are just as tough, so is delta force. honostly i wouldnt want to mess with any of them.

  • @hassanofarlington you're a girl right

  • i would propose a plan to destoy my team's equipment, then set up an ambush just short of the finish line, and beat the shit out of the next team, capturing their barrel and equipment.. fuckin aye SF

  • anybody know if they are allowed to utilize stuff they find on the road or are they not allowed to use anything but the 5 poles, 4 wheels and rope? cuz 3 maybe 2-3 feet logs added and you got the perfect vehicle, i tested it^^

  • @NervigesDings they arnt allowed to use any additional resources...its all about making the best of what youve got

  • @Vadion12 hmm but isn't that contradicting the purpose of the test? sure, it makes sense that they may not use any additional material from the camp, but wouldn't they use whatever they find in the woods if they were out in the field too? just thinking..if it is designed to test their creative thinking and their ability to solve problems, they shoulg be allowed to utilize whatever they find on their way from the moment they leave the camp.

  • I have a question, however clueless! I will say "sorry" now! Candidate James says all have the opportunity to be leaders and/or followers.Do they then take turns being leader? Is someone appointed, voted in?At 10:41 the assessor says that "any one of these guys can step up and take control,.but no one has." You would think that one of them would, but could one of them want to, but he has no new ideas? Is it just a coincidence that the personalities for #4 can't work together? sorry again.

  • @brousseaua usually the assessors choose a leader and then if he sucks they replace him but if another student steps up with a good plan and a way to use it he "Becomes" the leader

  • ''Enguinity right there... oh, oh crap.''

  • "amazing how this land navigation stuff works"

  • @sniperRobert hahaha love it!!

  • You air a series about SF showing them puking and medics popping puss out of their feet and you bleep _the cursing_?!

  • @qwasdninja That's network broadcasting standards for ya....apparently graphic language is more offensive than graphic images. :S

  • lol @ the "good idea fairy".

  • gay

  • Everyone one here that has said Hooah is either NOT in the army, or that one guy in then unit that we all mock continuously for still wanting to be GI Joe.

  • SFC Carrillo... I remember that guy.

  • haha i just got selected for the november '10 class. this was one of the easiest team week event... the key is getting the tires straight. god this brings back horrible memories watching this.

  • The importance of vocational skills. team 4 fails

  • The importance of vocational skills

  • "and we have this thing here that's trying to defy the laws of physics" ouch lol

  • @raeaddor XD Yep, lol those instructors are tough. I still always laugh when I see that. XD

  • Seems hard to get in.

  • ARMY PRIDE...HOOAHHH!!!!!!!!

  • @THEHAITIAN1804 "this is a no hooahh zone" lol watch the first vid if you dont get it

  • @Je3perscre3pers I get it but fuck it hahaha!

  • @Je3perscre3pers

    Whats a hooah?

  • @umadbrow the army battle cry...HOOAH!

  • @umadbrow I really hope you're kidding, but hooah is a general enthusiastic response to any order given in the army. I'm a paratrooper at Ft. Bragg and see these guys all the time around camp McCall, which is about 5 miles away. By the way they usually look like death when i see them. I'll stick with just jumping out of airplanes, fuck the level of personal commitment required to complete the 2 weeks of selection, much less the 1.5 to 2.6 years to earn your green beret (job specific.)

  • @Je3perscre3pers I fuckin rofled at that part in the first vid. Funny as hell.

  • @Je3perscre3pers acly he said this IS a hooahh free zone not no.

  • @THEHAITIAN1804 This is a hooah-free zone.

  • @THEHAITIAN1804 this is a HOOAH free zone

  • @jrsm28 & @KSkrode same comment...

  • my dad did this stuff. back when there were no regulations and sargents would kick peoples asses
