I think he was just trying to use shorthand for two sides in the conflict. In fact, the game has the Arab world as a NPC separate to the Palestinians - the Arab world wants different things, according to the game, than the Palestinian factions want.
if a real peace is to be achieved in this century israel will either have to get compenstation of land and the palestinians have to get more then just90% of the west bank and gaza from jordan and egypt , otherwise , well if you support anything else your a moonbat or a warmonger.
this game looks mightily one-sided, particularly in favor of leftist israeli leaders. i doubt that there is any way to win aside from the way that the leftists dictate, namely negotiating back bits and bits of israel and letting arabs in more and more until they think that there will be peace.
the game is actually very balanced though admittedly, the israeli PM was a lot harder for me. the fact is that you need to satisfy people's needs while assuring them of safety. when something goes wrong, israel could easily just bomb gaza. but you cannot if you want peace. you have to work beyond that, likewise with palestinians.
I wonder if the game allows you to pursue a single- secular-democratic state solution? In real life the alternatives are peace through victory or peace through justice. Does the game explore both paths?
The game teaches us that there is no such thing as peace through victory. You have to convince your people to live peacefully alongside the other state. You also find that we are a lot closer to a successful two-state solution than we think. It looks bad now, but oddly enough, all the violence we are seeing now is just surface tension, and if you work through it patiently you get peace.
Amen to that. I'm very fucking glad that the developers decided to make this game for a mature and developed purpose. Hell, with this subejct matter, I never thought anyone would make this kind of game. Still, I play games like GTA or DOOM 3, but the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is one of many that doesn't need any more bloodshed.

If that's not racist...then I'll leave you with:

What do you mean by leftist? It certainly doesn't allow you to win on right-wing policies on either side.
