0:39 Why is there a bridge pillar in the middle of the breakdown lane where out-of-control motorbikes, cars, buses and trucks can whack it? When the engineers DRUNK when they were designing the road??? If you can contact the authorities for the road demand they put a guardrail up!
I know this video is quite old, but it's kinda strange nobody noticed that Italy uses metric system, so the speed limit is 130 kph (80 mph), not 130 mph...
I know it is the metric system that's why I listed the speed in both kph and mph... It is clearly stated in the description and in the video that the speed driven was 130 mph (210 kph).
Kinda hard to have shoulders when you are on the side of the mountains. They have dedicated spots you can pull over. If your car breaks down your screwed.
Did u use VideoEditMagic v 4.0 or higher to add text and cut and join piceces ? And is it compatible 4 Windows Vista ?
I am planning a Director's Cut from Palermo to Lamezia. Two motrways but only some minutes of movie per route, maybe five routes between two Exits. This because i gotta go to Aspromonte Natl. Park (Mountain Pass) for two days.
I just used Windows Movie Maker... I haven't really had a chance to try some of the other editing software -- Let me know when your film is done -- I'd really like to see it.
Dude, my movies are ready since last month. Just Browse me and watch 'em. Or just type in the search field one of these tags in the website: Kill_Your_Television , Vista , Sidewinder , Advantage_Point_West , A20 , A3 , Southern , Italy , Autostrada , Motorways...
Hey, dude, wanna try the previous road ? The A20 Villa/Messina-Palermo ?? Make sure your webcam supports autobrightening or Electronic Expocontrol, 'cuz this highway has many tunnels within.
To access A-20 Motorway u must exit from Villa San Giovanni of A-3, upon after the Service and Refuelling Station (we call it "AutoGrill") and go to Messina in order to take the Messina Beltway that lead to the primary Motorway [E90] DirectLink to Palermo (Panormus).
scary just watching it on you tube

The speedo read both ways 130mph / 210kph - it's cool - the drive was still fun either way.
