For the record, it wouldn't have crossed my mind for a minute to get my camera if I'd thought for a minute there was anyone in the building, whatever social class.
Phew, thanks for that clelandas, I just thought my rant was a wee bit over the top in tone, it wasnt personal it was just a blast at the powers that be and their social policies, as far as your vid is concerned i think its excellent, I think its important to record events such as this which is why I done exactly the same. cheers.
this isnae Muirhouse yer filming from its Manhatten, The houses that burnt down were for local people & that was a shame the houses (Im guessing) you filmed from are privately owned, & therein lies the problem, there is rumour the fire was started by local neds, Im not condoning arson at all but the way poor neighbourhoods are being cleared & repopulated by a different social class is bound to foster some resntment from certain sections of the community.
Lit by the local 'plebs' no doubt,although weirdly enough there was also another fire a few days before in the city at another building site!!! The plot thickens! i saw this on my way to work in the morning.
