They are doing this due to their own inner lusts not because of any fault of women. Because they have lust in their own hearts they think that by making women cover their body will stop it but they need to examine their own hearts not force women to suffer because of their inner lustfullness toward them
I think people have lost their senses. We have far more serious issues in the world. Thousands of people are dying due to poverty and we have politicians speaking about what you can wear and what you cant wear. People should be allowed to wear anything they like and dont tell me it is enforced on them.
Next thing we will hearing in the news is about beanies being banned.
I think people should take off the veil to identify yourself for drivers permit just like you would take off a mask. You have to look at the veil just like any other piece of clothing if you care about civil rights. I think its sad that women feel so unsafe they have to cover themselves to walk out and about but who am I to judge someones choice of clothing.
In the states veil or no veil if guys are going to attack you a scarf isn't going to make a difference. Rape is about power not sex. A scarf is just something to wear in the US. This is a geopolitical difference. If you demand that people live like you its not the power of love at work but the love of power. Simple as that.
well they do make me uncomfortable, the full body ones anyway. if i went to afghanistan or iran would i have to wear a burka? i dont agree with banning it because thats a total contradiction. by the way there is a reason that muslims are demonised. i used to stand up for them. but its going too far now. sort ur people out if u dont wanna be hated.
Its a womans choice to wear a scarf, the only people that are going to give me thumb downs are desperate horny men who have never had a girl and are so desperate to see girls wearing nothing.

the reason nobody (black, white or otherwise) can't wear a balaclava when shopping is because balaclavas have bad connotations associated with them. since when have you seen someone wearing a veil rob a bank, for example?
I can't believe people are so threatened by a piece of cloth that Muslim women wear on their heads! I don't see people terrorizing nuns over covering their hair, I think it's total discrimination to be against a Muslim woman wanting to keep her body private to others. Why do people want to see them half naked so badly? Wow, they're covering themselves, get a life and hop off!
Because people are not object or animals. They should have faces and an identity. If crimes were commited how would we know how did it? If your friend is across the street how can you know to say hello? If somebody is sad how can you help them if you don't see their tears? Our faces connect us and bring out the humanity in us all
"Firefighters told the Saudi press that morality police forced girls to stay inside the burning building because they were not wearing the head scarves and black cloaks known as abayas that women must wear in public in that kingdom. One Saudi paper said the morality police stopped men who tried to help the girls escape the building, saying, "It is sinful to approach them."

Patriotism used to be considered a civic virtue. In the new liberal multicultural consumerist fantasy world it's the ultimate evil. Any European who dares to act in the interests of their own ethnic group risks denigration and ostrisisation. If opposing the displacement of your own group in your own territory is 'extremist' then the lunatics truly are running the asylum.

In 1st Corinthians 11:5-6 a woman when she prays if she uncovers her head, then she dishonors her head and her head should be shaved off.

I think that people should do what they want but accept the differences of others.
If a women wants to wear a scarf why not
but I would hope she wouldn't want me to.
I am surprized that people aren't more aware of civil rights. Who has a right to tell you what to wear or not to wear it is
so strange to me.

Ever see the Galloway debate? Wow he exposed them there!
Islam is a good religion. Headscarfs are OK but the Niqab and Burqa seem pretty extreme to me.

their not extreme..

I'm Muslim and what happened is totally unacceptable, this isn't a reflection of Islam, that was just total ignorance.
xoxoHotPrincessxoxo 4 years ago
I agree. Moderate Muslims must fight to take back their religion before it is hijacked by extremists and beyond redemption.
