  • Ah, now I understand. The reason that the voiceover is so weird, despite the Hindustan (actual name of India in international non-American nations) accent is that this is a computer-generated translation voice. Thus, "The symbol of Gallium is Georgia" (Ga = USA State Abbreviation being mistaken for the chemical shorthand abbreviation).

That's why the computer voice generation, although very high quality, has no emphasis or vocal modulation of tempo or intonations.

  • I do like the robot, the show needs work though on the hosting dialog for better viewer satisfaction.

  • U need to get a new speaker that thing is so fucking annoying

  • i like the scene of it in the microwave but who the fuck needs to know these facts

  • i did this before u all did

  • To the racist dude... Fuck off. Everyone is equal. And I'm British btw..

  • OH MY POO, GALIUM SHOT A LAZER AT THE BACK OF YOUR MICROWAVE!!!

  • nice one, gallium A forms plasma when microwaved (as expected being metallic) and reaches at least 300 °c

  • Try coating the surface of the jar with gallium then, microwave it. You'll find a much more exciting firework.

  • Why does this computer generated voice have an Indian accent?

  • Gallium is an "artificially human made soft silvery metallic metal"? It hardly gets funnier than this. Gallium is a naturally occurring substance just like aluminum or every other non-radioactive element.

  • @talshiarr Well the actual element Gallium doesn't occur naturally at all, even though it is not a human made substance. It can be synthesised effectively from Gallium salts (not pure Gallium) so in this way it can be considered artificial. Because it is. Pure Galium also melts at about room temperature so is... soft unless you have hands made of ice. It is silvery and metallic.

What on earth are you on about?

  • man even the guys from "is it a good idea to microwave this? ' series are more professional and humorous. this is really boring.

  • CWSSje, seriously you guys need to get a life and stop your BS spamming to promote Jpizzle on all the other microwave shows on Youtube. I am sure they don't pay you to spam for them, so why the f**k do you do it? It just makes you and them look bad.

  • i don't spam, and no they don't pay me to do anything. I'm just commenting and comparing them to your vids. so don't feel so lst when i like theirs and not yours. i'm also telling you how to improve them. if you choose to take it as what it is, then thats your problem.

  • @dovetastic well pardon me for being a f**ker. I'm sure that if something is boring you'd say so too.If you want a constructive comment, here : Get a better narration program/ narrator. Learn to take things a little less offensive, i didn't swear at you. And i don't promote at all. I'm just stating a comparison.sure, its my fault for saying they're better but it's my preference coz I'm more interested in everyday items getting fried than substances which my country doesn't sell.Probably

  • @dovetastic umadbro.

  • @CWSSje jpizzle's vids are way too long

  • Comment removed

  • @jungleman68 Haha, yea actually they are getting long... But hey, i stopped watching it altogether.

  • @jungleman68 Right on.Some like their shows funny but others prefer a documentary,str8 to the point type. ;] So I guess it's due to viewers' preference. There's no gd or bad.

  • @CWSSje Boohoo, GTFU and get over yourself... I got a message for you from Maddox... No body gives a shit about your opinion, asshole. You included.

  • @CWSSje atleast u can see the stuff way better than the other guys

  • @CWSSje do you suck there cock for them too???? The professional microwave operator rocks,, simple as,,,, and Jpizzle is a retard

  • imgload (dot) nl/upload/1251546211_gallium_for_calvin (dot) jpg

  • WOAH! No way! I sold some gallium to Calvin Drews of Michigan a while ago!

(If you don't know what I'm talking about, read the description)

  • lets see u make optimus prime transforming microwave

  • no elemantal galium slug :(

  • reminds me of that scene from spiderman 2 were the guy says "the power of the sun in the palm of my hand"

  • this show susks any one could do this!!!!!!

  • ok lets see you build a 1 ton microwaving robot

  • Hey, I'm glad you got my gallium! To bad it wasn't too spectacular... Thanks for your time, though!

    -Calvin

When I shipped it, It was not melted. It must have traveled through some hot weather!

  • dovestastic:

I am sorry the show is not to a 100% of your satisfaction KyleSlaughter322. I try to deliver the most visually spectacular microwaving on the web and I create art from the results of my microwaving. I am known internationally for my art and most people... "

Don't be sorry. You have no reason to be sorry. Kyle is the one who should be sorry he doesn't appreciate this excellent show and your efforts to bring these experiments to the eyes of the YouTube community.

  • Good one!

  • I think one of the main reasons that is it a good idea to microwave this has generally more views is that you see the hosts more in person, and therefore they seem more "real."

  • That is true Scitech101, but it is a different style from mine. My show is more reliant on creativity and art, and less on acting. My show is also known for the most visually spectacular microwaving on the web. Fact is Jpizzle is more about comedy and less about microwaving, and the comedians on youtube get the most views.

  • I like Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This better, but five stars anyway!

  • Thankyou Tekkenfreek234, I am glad you like my show also however I assumed my microwaving was very visable and clear in HD.

  • Oh yeah, it was much better quality. I like your show as well, I'm not trashing it.

  • Understood. Thankyou Tekkenfreek234!

  • I like both shows. Dovetastic's show obviously has more money into it and therefore is better in video quality and equiptment, While "is it a good idea to microwave this" has a more "independent" traditional youtube show feel.

  • You are right on target Scitech101.

  • mcpotty001, it is enough. Get a life. Dont spam down random videos with bullshit like that. Go troll at some other places. If you HAVE to troll youtube videos, go troll "is it a good idea to microwave this" instead. Your trolling isnt close to be funny.

Move along, get yourself a job, a life, a wife and children and a car to fix, go parachuting, bungee jump, fish, play golf or whatever- but stop this! Thanks.

  • You're calling him an idiot when you don't capitalize your i's. You also spelled 'You're' wrong, if anyone is an idiot, It would be you. Also, you have to capitalize your letters after a period. Did you even go through elementary school?

  • you capitalized It after a comma at least get your flaming right

  • You didn't capitalize you at the beginning of your sentence. You also did not use a period at the end of your sentence. Flaming is defined as the hostile interaction of internet users. I do not believe I was being hostile in any manner.

  • oh youre one of those guys... the kind of person that cant find a good insult so they attack internet typing. good job

  • I'm one of those guys who can not stand txt tlk and other assorted forms of illiteracy.

  • Wow, Gallium FTW. Microwave a whole bunch of mercury next.

  • l.o.l. that was a REAL PAIN IN THE GLASS ! for the jar.... :P

  • dude that was the shit the glass just melted lol

  • Do your neighbors get pissed at you for doing the microwave show

  • No masterducky1, it's pretty far away from anyone and the AMIR 9000 is self contained.

  • until it goes boom!

  • Hey Dovemaster do you have any idea what gallium is used for?

  • WICKED!!!!

That jar melted and shattered very quickly after the heat got to 5k'F

  • dove, you should get some kind of noble gas, like argon or something, it was glow and be amazing! haha, but you couldnt make anything out of it :(

  • I like how the text-to-speech says "Gallium is a chemical element that has the symbol Georgia."

    No gallium slug?

  • skyscraperjim, There was no Gallium left to make a slug with or I would have.

  • Just kidding about the slug. I agree, this is one of the strangest things microwaved. Didn't realize it spat out the back of the molten jar, I'll have to watch it again.

  • skyscraperjim, Actually it was molten it just went through a solid as a liquid in a molten state without braking the jar intially.

  • you should microwave uranium!:)

  • looking forward to that, IF he can get his hands on a small amount.

  • wow cool haha i love the music 4 this

  • why i never heard of such a thing. i liked it when the glass jar just melted. HOT!!!!!!!!!

  • I love Gallium metal

    It's properties are so unique

I never thought I would see it in a microwave.

  • Gallium beads on the floor and sides of the microwave?

  • CNe7532294, all the gallium evaporated.

  • Ooooooo what were all those "beads"? then on the floor and sides?

PS: This is the most interesting of all experiments done due to the fact that its never been done and I as well as others are curious as to what happened. Thanks Dove =)

  • AWESOME!!!!! ...but where's the gallium slug? :P

  • I am sorry the show is not to a 100% of your satisfaction KyleSlaughter322. I try to deliver the most visually spectacular microwaving on the web and I create art from the results of my microwaving. I am known internationally for my art and most people enjoy it and think it's a fun show. If you don't like it, you don't have to watch it.

  • LOL! You forgot one thing: "IN YOUR FACE!!" :P

  • 2:10...nice shot :o

  • I'm telling you Kenny, one of these days an Israeli flag might be a nice experiment. Takbir!

  • ~sighs~

I really wish people would stop fighting....

Who cares who's holy land it is, just coexist peacefully. Please

  • Agreed cheeseboat15.

  • PObserver, I am sorry. I won't do it. All arabs and jews are originally from the semite tribes. They are all brothers and sisters. Read your history. Even muslims & jews have nearly identical dietary laws. The whole palestinian & israeli conflict is nonsense. Microwaving a flag wether it be arab or jewish is a symbol of hatred. I agree both sides have done bad things to each other however it takes that first person to say, "how can we help each other & live in peace?" I take no sides, only peace

  • I so want to hug you right now lol

You put it better, and much nicer than I would

  • I didn't say it's not a fun show ok damn I just get mad at random things at random times I might even donate something if my parents let me idk

  • No problem Kyleslaughter322. Understood. Thankyou for enjoying the show.

  • Yes, I've noticed the etymology of the word "halal" as in halal meat lately fits with the Jewish law of halakhah, I'm sure the words are in some way related. Still, their settlements and 67 boarders causes me to feel frustrated.

  • AGREED !kenny

  • Keep the intro forget those lazy people who can't learn to skip and whine that they lost 29 seocnds of their lifes I hope to donate an item soon though.

  • that was awesome. next time you should microwave it without the jar.

  • yeahhhh

  • 2:30 ohhh shit! ohhh shit! holy crap!

  • billymayes921, The intro is 29 seconds long, if you don't want to watch it, skip it please.

  • how did it burn the back of the microwave??

  • sk8rkid25, Yes it did. It boiled so hot and shot out of the container with out braking the glass in a molten state into the back f the microwave. This is one of the strangest things I have ever microwaved.

  • awesome! great job

  • Are you sure that was safe to microwave? It wasnt toxic or something? :P

  • Calvin Drews donated this item which I have not seen that he has watched his item be microwaved yet but I already questioned him as I do everyone who donates to the show when something looks a bit questionable and I found it to be free of toxins. It's not like mercury as I won't microwave a container of mercury but gallium is safe enough you can handle this stuff with your bare hands. I just say leave microwaving gallium up to your professional microwave operator MrTruckdriver09.

  • I can assure I will :P The same for all other metals too :P but i remember my grandfather microwaved a plate with gold at its edge a 10 years ago. It sparked alot

  • :( you dont microwave things who looks a bit qestionable? So if I donate a grenade, you won't microwave it? :.(

  • Correct MrTruckdriver09.

  • yey another mic/ed product :D

  • wow that was fantastic
