1 the BBC is reporting news the news was the judge stood clarified the law therefore they discussed what he said. this is not biased if they had brought in a secular speaker that would make it into a debate not a news report
2 its a clear misunderstanding on you side of the issue.the judge did not advocate shria law he stated the UK contract law which says that you can use and rules in you agreements as long as it does not violate UK law.

Government should be secular. If Muslims want to practice their faith in their private homes, they have every right to do so. But they do not have the right to infringe their beliefs upon government. Government does not endorse any religion. Sharia should bend to the constitution or parliament, not the other way around. If Muslims want to live under Sharia law, go live in an Islamic-State. Uphold separation of church and state, and uphold our secular values.

i think there are 2 major problems with your argument.
1 the BBC is reporting news the news was the judge stood clarified the law therefore they discussed what he said. this is not biased if they had brought in a secular speaker that would make it into a debate not a news report
2 its a clear misunderstanding on you side of the issue.the judge did not advocate shria law he stated the UK contract law which says that you can use and rules in you agreements as long as it does not violate UK law.

discrimination on the basis of race is illegal ; the law is enforced and damages can be awarded.
The west encourages women to report rape and protects women who do so.
Islam and the Jordanian government do not , and a woman if she reports a rape in jordan is likely to be held partly responsible ; in the west the responsiblity is never put on the woman by law .

Got a few Jordanian friends and the women do not agree with you.
Saudi Arabia and Pakistan , Iran all consider a woman is culpable in her own rape depending on her conduct, clothing , attitude and whether or not she screamed enough; in the west the ONLY issue is consent.
There are no whites only churches m8; none.

I lived in Memphis-Tennessee in 1989 to 1994 , and I remember there was a church in the neighborhood was only for whites , next to Mountmoraiya st.
your Jordanian friends arent really right about it , I now live in Jordan and I know really the rules , I dont deny there are some Arabs who really are backward and dont act like the religion but like old traditional way which is against Islam.

My friend, you maybe misunderstood me , I said that churches bells are legal in a muslim country like Jordan , but the call of the prayer for muslims are not legal in USA.
We in Jordan(muslim country) are tolerant to allow the church bell , but USA ( the democratic tolerant country!) dont allow it for muslims.

the difference in abortion is due to the continuing practice of backyard abortion in jordan , this dangerous practice has been adressed by 'legalisation ' by various mechanisms in the interest of harm minimization .
Religion is no obstacle ; the western approach is to admit the problem and face up to it ; no one pretends the WEst or the USA are perfect ; far from it ; but the number of people wanting to move to the west speaks volumes of what people think of sharia..... they want out .

Islam and its law, Shar'iah, are antithetical to an open, free and just democracy. Hence this trend is evident not just in Britain, but across the Free World. It's common sense basically; if you - as a sane individual - were presented by a primitive, barbaric and repressive system, you'd have a natural aversion to it.
