  • why didnt you just dump the fuel on the grass (it eas already ruend) and then clean the fuel boul

  • im gonna get a uni pod air filter. what size do i need?

  • Lance, I just added a biturbo muffler and upjetted (using the air filter and jet speed kit from 1977 mopeds.com) my 2008 Tomos LX and a few days after my engine is busted. I was going about 30mph and all of a sudden it slowed down, jerked and then it sounded like something broke inside. Now I can't move the pedals back to even try to kick start. I'm afraid the engine might have seized, any suggestions on what I should do? I don't think the upjet and new muffler cause this, what is your thought?

  • Can you please help me with my tomos a3 carburetor? Please. Can you suggest me, what household chemical I can use to clean it from scale (I hope I spelled that right). The engine is actualy new, but it was not used for a year and few months, so carburetor is filled with dirt and scale. I cannot get carburetor cleaner (in spray) in my countrey, I was trying to find where can I buy it, but I can't, noone has it. Thanx!

  • on 16/16 dellorto go with 70 jet, that is ideal

  • is this what you have to do to upjet when you add a biturbo

  • I am a few weeks away from purchasing a Tomos and I really appreciate all your videos. I am sure these vids will provide tremendous value when I start doing scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting. Great work!

  • I have an tomos 2006 lx (a35)and im wondering what size jet i need to put in to upjet. also... whats the exhuast would u reccommend i put on my moped? i currently have stock

  • @MrHowDoYouDoIt

Get a Tecno bullet.... cheaper then a BiTurbo with the same perfomance.... if you have the bread, go for the Technigas Next pipe... its low end torque makes it a good choice if you plan to change your sprockets for increased speed.

  • hey i was wondering is the main jet a 6mm or 5mm.

  • @John6495

stock carb on a Streetmate is 14mm Dellorto PHVA... it uses 6mm main jets...

  • hi i just got a new 2010 tomos lx and i got a biturbo pipe but i dont know what size to change the jet to can you help?

  • @Jskizzle69

Buy these jets... 58, 60, 62, 64 and 66.... you need a range of sizes to tune properly.

  • @LanceCampeau ?? would i just like switch them every now and then?

  • @LanceCampeau

Where is the best place to buy these main jets?

  • I have a stock streetmate that I bought used, it was gummed up pretty bad with two years stored with cas in the carb and tank, cleaning the jets I actualy dropped on of the jets and lost it (gone into a drain super bad luck). what size is the stock idle jet? Also do you know where the best place is online to get one in canada? Any help would be appreciated. I've got the main jet still and everythign else. Trying to search for an answer I found your vids. good stuff.

  • how do i know wat size upjets mean?

  • wat about a35 engines?... please make a video on how to upjet those engines please

  • omg you are a life saver. @.@ I was scared about changing mine. I'm getting an '89 Sachs seville and the owner was tellin' me it needs bigger Jets and I was like WHAT. but this is so helpful!

  • will this modification increase the speed?

  • if you change the jets does it make the start up better? im a noob to mopeds, just wondering

  • i have a 50cc scooter and i was just wondering what the different sizes ment like the difference between a 60 and a 62. thanks.

  • @oOmpbasball194Oo

.060 and .062 are a "thousands of an inch" measurement

  • 4:23. I see a train

  • you better beleve it!!!

  • @ZachFire101 Good job!

  • @noens4

The Dellorto PHVA 14mm carb is good! it has a lot of controls for air/fuel mix, idle etc... I upgraded to the 17.5mm but you won't need that if you leave the motor stock...

  • what does the 60,62 etc numbers mean?, sorry for the noob question im new to mopeds

  • is the procedure of changing the jet same for a 150cc 4stroke engine.......i can specify the bike....i have a..... bajaj pulsar 150 dtsi

  • i've got tomos automatic and there is no scooter with 70ccm kit near me when we drag race. TOMOS ROCKS. keep up the good work

  • 14mm carb, 65 jet with open air filter WTF mine is 19.8mm with a custom air box and thats running a 95jet O.o

  • Thanks for doing all of these vids! Do you have a favorite place (online?) to buy your moped parts?

  • Great! I now know how to fix my Jet problem! :D

  • there not plyers u idit theyre mole grips.

  • what the hell is a "mole grip" ?

  • never mind batman. lool. stupid yank.

  • Do you homework you cunt. There are no Yanks here.

  • lmao whatever you say batman. you are king of the tools. rotfl. keep on bullshittin batman.p.s. nice plyers :P NOT

  • Stick to riding your BMX keyboard warrior...

  • Lance, I need your opinion. Ive got a stock 2008 Tomos Streetmate.

Im adding the Uni pod filter, a tecgnigas exhaust, 26T rear sprocket, and a 70cc airsal kit.

WHat main jet do you think i should go to.

should i change the main jet and the infuser?

    Please let me know.

  • i would start with a #64 main jet and #30 idle jet

  • Where Can i get a #60 carburetor jet from???

  • You lost the nut? What are you, nuts?

  • i think u should run 1 higher ilde jet a 58 main jet. tell me how many times must you screw in your air/fuel screw from original position to completely lean (right) and i can help u tune to get the most out of ur pipe that ur not to happy about. run it with the uni as well.

  • this carb is much more advanced than the 1 i have, i only have a main jet and an idle screw. dell'orto SHA14/12. i think that because the a55 has intake ports instead of reedvalves, the carb must have more components. an enricher jet (commonly but mistakingly known as the choke, its only an acutal choke if there's a slide that comes down over air hole), main jet and idle jet. makes it harder (but still easy) to tune the carb.

  • Thanks for these vids. I love my streetmate and these are a big help!!!

  • i have two questions

what does the different numbers mean on the jet

    and

    which exhaust do you recommend

    nice vid btw

  • hello: the numbers on the different jets is the size... I think its fractions of a mm... as in, a number 62 jet is 0.62 mm or something like that... as for exhaust, if you wnat a good speed pipe... try a Tecno Bullet (cheaper than the BiTurbo and they are almost identical). If you want better low end power... Technigas Next R, Tecno Estoril or the Imperial Blitz

  • ty sooo much, but i recently ran into a problem with my streetmate. after riding for about 20 min when i stop at a red light, stop sign etc it turns off! so i have to switch it to reserve to get home whats wrongs do you know?

  • ur out uh gass. dee
