does anybody have any experience with the Radeon hd4650 or even the Radeon hd4670? I mean would the Radeon cards produce much better graphics the this here 8600GT? if so, is anyone aware of anything BETTER than the Radeon hd4650 & 70's???

you cant get much better graphics with any card with dx10 or above, because the games doesnt support dx10 or above features, only dx9(sm 3.0) is max

anyone have this problem with fear? after i play about 10mins,it starts lagging ALOT like it would run 10fps.. (i have only fear mp demo^^)

I downloaded Fear MP a few days ago, and at first it ran like crap, but for some reason after I changed my resolution to my native resolution, it ram smooth as hell with no stuttering or lag.

The game didn't support my res in the menu, so I had to put it in manually. You're on Vista, right? Go to Users>Public>Public Documents>Monolith Productions and keep going till you see the settings config file. Go to where it says height and width and change that to your desired res.

well i play it absolutely maxed out. (res,graphs,AA and everything except mouse sensivity lol). gonna try to put it the same i have my screen on... btw what program with do you open the .cfg? if i modify it,i have to put it into .txt and then i cant change it back to .cfg

Sadly, when I tried to run DOOM 3 on my PC, it crashed instantly. I think it's a Vista issue, I'm on Vista x32.

Condemned Is the scariest out of the lot because i played it on 360, fear i played the first 3 lvls at my dads and doom 3 i couldnt play on my comp! BOO HOO

I love F.E.A.R. ITS FUCKING SCARY!!!! I am still finding scary moments and I had this game since it was made. Doom 3 ITS THE SAME SHIT EVERY LEVEL!!!! Imp in front of a door or zombies that arent well hidden. Fear has better multiplayer WAY MORE guns and the physics engine is fantastic and the ragdolls dont dissappear after you shoot them. It is also cool how you can dismember your enemys. FEAR OWNS DOOM BIG TIME!

I don't care about dooms multilayer I have a good feeling its going to be another halo death match type thing which is fine I love halo but I play doom for single player it probably wont be scary anymore after you finish the campaign. I still would like the fear series more

Doom 3 on Ultra still looks beautiful and graphically speaking it stands the test of time (also the game itself of course).
