I hope you had a better experience than i did Mr.Linux with this distro. I have not found a way to update or install anything on it other than what comes on it from the default install. I installed Zorin OS as a replacement. This is really a sad case of affairs in my opinion. Or am i just over looking the obvious ?

@MrLinuxLive. LOL! When I wrote LMDE, I meant Linux Mint Debian Edition. :) it seems to be better than Lubuntu, Ubuntu, and Linux Mint LXDE. I am a 2year Linux user. :)

@PlayDestination -Oh, ok!! Yeah I used LinuxMint (gnome) on my E-Machine desktop until it bricked the other day, but yeah LinuxMint is one of my fav.

What song is that and who is the artist? I like Lecrae, Trip Lee, Da Truth, Cam, and Fedel. I'm running Linux Mint Debian and I'm extremely happy. I was running Lubuntu and thought that LMDE wouldn't be as responsive, but I was wrong! LMDE is definitely smoother and faster.

@PlayDestination -That song is "Heaven or Hell" Artist: FLAME && yeah I like Lacrae, Flame, Trip Lee, and Sho Baraka.. and the name of that environment is LXDE not LMDE.. and great to see other Christian Linux users, if you need any help let me know. I'm a 3 year linux user.

nice bro, i got a question. im gonna get a net-book and im lookin for somethin( a distro) that is lightweight but looks good but isnt a gpu killer.

@grandmasterhack -Well man, I use Ubuntu 11.04 on my netbook. I think in your case you would be better off with a cloud based OS. Maybe you should take a look at Peppermint OS, gOS, or Jolicloud OS. Moblin is also a great OS for netbooks, but it's not lightweight.
