nah man no need for jetski, usualy theres alot of white wash u can catch then cruise around in it until it comes green depending on the water level, when its perfect its a nice head high wave or pure green

Although we live about 550 kms (roughly 330 miles) from the nearest Atlantic ocean coast waves (States of Maine & Massachussets), we're quite priviledged to have 3 spots nearby to practice river surf: Habitat 67, various spots in the Lachine rapids & Richelieu River rapids just below the hydro electrical dam in Chambly.

Yup! except from mid-June till end of August, you'll need a wetsuit... unless you've got 2-4 inches of fat on every limb & your torso!

Montreal River? You mean St Lawrence River.

Montreal River is locate at Eastern Ontario connected to Lake Superior. The River in Montreal is St Lawrence.
