A very nice console but missing one "power" element imo. Look at wii, supports numerous Emulators like the NES, Genesis, and N64 (and a couple others). If they just had the PS2 emu on it would be that much better or shits and giggles a UMD drive! Useless in some aspects but maybe a ripping feature could be doen so they could be stored on the PS3 itself.

The PS3 Uses tech that is over 10 years old. (file compressing) Nothing in the systems, except for BluRay, is new. If you think that the PS3 is the only console that gets updates to play more games in better quality then there is something wrong with you. can i just say..it doesnt have the best processor and it doesnt have 8 processors.. it has the same processor as the 360, the 360 has 2 x 3.2 ghz processor and the ps3 has 1 x 3.2 ghz processor, i the ps3 doesnt have 8 processors it has 8 secments *or summa tlike that* meaning its breaking the 1 processor into 8 parts. the 360 has more ram so it will be smother to play and will load faster. so all in all the 360's better.

Joeyis, you will find that the X-buck 360 and WiWi fan bays will try to bend your ear by making fales claims regarding the PS3. Do not be deceived it is the most advanced system and has not been used to its full potential. The 360 and WEE are dead compared to the PS3 before their luanch due to its lack of hardware. You will be happy with your choice.

mmm... one of the main reasons is because the PS3 needs some parts produced in china that arent produced because the material is not found... but if you see, everybody says things like, im going to get a PS3 if i can and then the Wii... so the Wii is always the companion of the first two competitors, the PS3 and the XB360

In Europe 599€. in the rest of the world i'm not sure but i would say the same price. the cheaper version costs 499€ or dollor(nearly the same) best would be you surf a bit, you can see prices on every i-net site,best is wikipedia;)

ive tried wii and personally 360>wii but the ps3 in m opininion overall the ps3 is best cice BUT dont get it jus now the bugs the gay games and the price but next year wil be better so jus wait wii has ok gameplay but not a 10/10 more like a 6/10 360 has good games good playing and halo 3 gears and ps3 getsmgs4 tk6 and sequels like kh3 ff13 ff7 remake so lah im waiting but till next year im getting 360
