Thankyou! Although the reason it's my favorite anime isn't because of how "fucked up" it is... I must admit that it definately is :D. And it is VERY awesome, so if that's what you are looking for you should defintely watch this anime.

However, if it means anything to you... it does have ALOT of symbolism and is an awesome (but very sad) story with strong christian influence from the bible.

But, what the hell. I like the Star Wars series and Halo and a lot from those have come from the bible. So long as it has some form of meaning behind the story, it's better than most things out now adays.

You should really see NGE! It's one of the greatest, most epic, most symbolic, most tragic, most entertaining, animes ever! It is definately one of my top three favorite all time animes.
