Hello, this video really filled me with emotions, I feel your movements like perfect poetry. Body poetry. My eyes are a bit wet after watching this, and I can't tell why. I have no words to describe what I feel but I surely want to start with this practice. I was postponing it for enough months already!
Thank you infinitely. Also, the music and the place are excellent sellections, congratullations! And thanks from the deepest of my heart!
Do you recommend me Simplified 24-form Taichi too?
Hi Doctor Pauline, I would like to know what's the name of this form. Is it yang style? because I practice Tai chi yang style and I'm very excited about this particular form. I love how you perform it! BRAVO!!! :)
It's beautiful, I hope to learn this form some day, hope soon, I'm stuck with 24 form for a year now, well, I made a pause during winter, at least in learning the connected movements...
Wonderful performance! Thank you for posting. I am trying to learn this form and your video helps a lot as your movements come across so very clear and distinguished. Eventually I will try to learn it to the original music by Prof. Li Deyin.
Your music and performance reminds me of the movie of: 'The House of Flying Daggers'
Thank you so much for this Video Dr Bao. I have been practicing the guang ping style for 20 years and was looking for a good fan form. This is the one for me. you are delightful to watch and your son is so talented.
Thank you so much for posting this video Dr Bao. I have been looking for a fan form for a long time and I think this one is perfect. I have been practicing the guang ping style for 20 years. One of my teachers was a woman and fortunately she did not explain the applications for the moves. Over the years I figured out my own. She believed if you figure out your own your fighting would be more effective. I will find them here as well. You are delightful to watch
Very nice! But I think you should take the music out so we can hear the snap from the fan. I think that the "noise" the fan makes at opening gives the form much more power, which would make it incomparable when added to your grace. I learned part of this form from Grand Master Li De Jing and his wife. I'll keep watching yours.
wow that was really good i use the fan 2 but im not as good as that (manly because i go much faster and add in power...) and the setting was perfect for that!!! keep up the good work! :)
As a kid I used to look down on tai Chi....Now I relize I was wrong thanks for the vid.I will never ever look down on any thing I dont understand.sometimes my ignorance gets the best of me. all I want now is humility and wisdom, tai chi is so beautiful. Thanks for the Inspiration
Hi,Thank you so much for posting this video.I'm trying to learn this, but sadly, my Buddhist monk master left for Taiwan. This video will surely help me polish my moves.
Thanks a lot !More power to you!
What's the title of the music? Is it downloadable?
Hi lilianred2004. Thanks so much for the nice comment...I'm glad I can help! The music comes from a compilation CD my brother made for me a long time ago. I have not been able to find any of the songs on that CD as downloads. Sorry :( Good luck with your practice!!

Hi. I'm so sorry for the delayed reply.
I recommend starting with Simplified 24-Form Tai Chi. It's what is typically considered 'beginner tai chi'.
The benefits of tai chi are numerous...and I highly encourage you give it a try! See my blog for a video and post on 24-Form.
