  • "All drivers within 107%"

Tell that to Caterham, HRT and Marussia for the just in case scenario!!

  • @TheCracker94

As Caterham (as Team Lotus) was always within 107% in 2011.

  • 2 words....FUCKING HELL!

  • R.B.R. flat true 130r no sweat.

  • This is Suzuka 2001..

  • WTF they went so fast......

  • fuck these guys are retardedly good, I like watching these to get braking and turning points and stuff for F1 games and there is no way a normal person can do it this accurately even on a game

  • The Sound of the Vid is awesome xD

    V10 - bring them back!

  • 1:29 - How fast ? :D

  • Almost flat through 130R!

  • Anyway, the F1 cars ~10(±) years earlier looked much better! And the V10 engines without RPM limit where incredible!!! unfortunately worship, we won't see/here them any more :( "The new Formula 1", with all rules, safety instructrions etc. etc. sucks!!! Bring back the old cars, and pls come back to tracks where the spectators are really interested in F1 (magny cours, imola, indy etc.) - then it would still be something special to watch F1 (live or on tv)

  • LEGEND!

  • man the downshift, "niu niu niu niu" is so epic!!!!!!

  • あースンゲーエンジン回ってる

    今のレギュレーションだと回しきれてない感がはんぱねーもんなあ

  • Michael Schumacher in the present - driving for Mercedes GP, only looks like an old warhorse. He's just good enough of making big partys with good friends (just like he did it after the german gp, last weekend, yes true...) but he isn't worthy of parking his old and weak brick in a formula one car. He sure was the greatest driver of all one day, but his days as great race driver are passed - no dublication of incidents.

He should just get that and make a clean quit after this season.

  • It's hard to understand why a seven-times (ex-) world champion can't even beat a driver whose car is worse than his own, plus Schumacher had the way better scheduling, cuz he already knew the team (instead of Heidfeld, who first had no cockpit for this season, and who even had just luck with the Kubica-accident)

  • Heidfeld sure isn't the best race driver. In the last season, he was only a testdriver for Mercedes GP (as you can see, they better decided to take HIM instead of the old warhorse Schumacher) until Sauber decided to replace de la Rosa by Heidfeld. There at Sauber, he drove only the last five races then. So, whatta ya think? Heidfeld doesn't even had a team in the process of the winter break. He had to know how the team works twice - for the last five races in 2010 and at the beginning of 2011.

  • Huh, if you guys still think that Schumi's doing good this season, then I'll help ya a bit.

Let's take a look at the season stats: Rosberg now has 46 points, Schumacher got only 32 points. But there's another german f1 driver I want to take on the fokus,

(yes, i'll make an exception this time ^^) :

Nick Heidfeld - 34 years old, f1 driver for the Renault F1 team. He is now by 34 points. So, how can it be, that he has two more points than Schumacher, while Heidfeld is sitting in a worse car??

  • Shumacher should have came back to ferrari im sure he'd be having better seasons and shumachers legacy can never be restroyed he came back for the challenge of helping mercedes become a real good racing car so cut him some slack

  • The sound is so great :D pls bring the V10 back!

  • @Cruzadelol we want v10..they give us v6...at 15k rpm..

  • @Cruzadelol Anyway, the F1 cars ~10(±) years earlier looked much better! And the V10 engines without RPM limit where incredible (sound, aswell performance)!!! unfortunately worship, we won't see/here them any more :( "The new Formula 1", with all rules, safety instructrions etc. etc. sucks!!! Bring back the old cars, and pls come back to tracks where the spectators are really interested in F1 (magny cours, imola, indy etc.) - then it would still be something special to watch F1 (live or on tv)

  • genius at work

  • @alexander Achso, du bist deutscher...sieh mal an!

  • Michael schumacher 2000-2006 was a master assasine with 56 victorys.

The guy in the gp mercedes peace of shit 2010 and 2011 must be his greenhorn twin from the land of the losers.

    That IS true.

  • F1 needs old cars without TC and LC

  • 0:45 was an amazing corner. the spoon was incredible too. Yep, this guy earns his paycheck.

  • That lap on this track is so nice! Me and Martin love Ferrari so much! Thanks for the lap Schumacher! =-)

  • he really sprited to win championship :D

  • Simply the greatest race car driver on the planet!!!!

  • 無駄のない走りだねぇ~。

  • :45 OMG

  • FIA are ruining F1

  • Best driving lap ever in Suzuka. The REAL 130r flat out 304 Km/h !!! The speed into the Degner corner and Spoon corner is unreal.

    Danke Michael

  • Those speeds are terrifying and he still manages to cut 0:45 perfectly, ahhhh!!!!!!

  • wow incredible he takes 130r flatout !!! if you watch the onboard camera of 1999 you can hear that he cant take it with full trottle!!!suzuka the best track after the nordschleife!!

  • is real o is game ??plis

  • 0:45, how he anticipated that corner apex is jaw-dropping.

  • 1400 Rpms!! Damn!!

  • let's hope brawn gives him a kick ass car next year that suites his driving style. then we can see what he still has got in him

  • someone beat schumacher time on GT5p with times of 1.25.047 lol.

  • Granturismo 5 is funnier than this video. Also have better graphic as well.

  • TUNE, you have to love that sound 0:37 4th gear and up hill, engine is screamin like lil girl about to get raped haha, btw in these years not everybody was pushin pedal to the metal in 130R turn (1:30), but schumi with ease owned this turn, suzuka is great track, with spa and canada my favourite

  • great accel control

  • V10's kick arse.

    The sound is awesome.

  • They are doing these times now; 1.32.00

  • @Howitzer909 I know Right!? What was the meaning of making the cars ugly and down grading to a V8?

  • V10... says it all...

  • Perfekt.

i hope he'll get in 2011 a better car like the mercedes w-01.

he is the best driver - 4ever

  • 1.30 incredible.

  • OMG the sound is sick!

  • this is insane. schumacher is a freak

  • @OriginalDave I said almost identical about the courses & the physics were just along for the ride so yea, gross exaggeration on my part. reasonably similar is better but you got my point

  • Expect Drive amazing wonderful

  • amazing...

  • @DarthSparhawk good sound that has that crap

  • um y is he using rain tires not sliks ?

  • @comandersven they are not rain tyres. Between 1998 and 2008 F1 ran grooved tyres instead of slicks.

  • next year vil be the real Schumacher

    this year ist for adaptacion

  • @leprakiraly yeah my friend....everyone f1 driver who saw this vid must be scared as hell...

  • @leprakiraly ugy legyen kiván h legyen igazad

  • @leprakiraly No it wont sorry.

  • @leprakiraly so, I see...this year we see the real Schumager? xD

  • @astra606 iam not a shumacher fan but he is doing much better than last year ... if this is some of his conditioning coming back or using data from last season to make a more suitable car . but he is getting fast and i think he will be in good shape by the end of the season as far as pace. that team next year will be strong . i hope alonso can muster something up this year , at least to make it interesting ......

  • @mushrume

    schumachers first 6 places in last season: 6, 10, DNF, 10, 4, 12

schumachers first 6 places in this season: DNF, 9, 8, 12, 6, DNF

So, he got 22 points after the first 6 races last season, 72 points after the complete season what brought him the 9th place in overal standings

Now, he have 14 points after the first 6 races this season and is 11th in overal standings and you're prattering something about "he is doing much better that last year"

Learn the facts and do your homework, kid.

  • @astra606 i think u missed a 4th place in montreal here, which could have easy been a 2nd place (without the stupid DRS)

he is doing better, and he still has the skillz. He just needs a car and not a roller.

  • @alexandertrefz hey, stupid! This comment was made BEFORE montreal happened! Oh, MAN!

Well, he had luck with all the safety car phases. In the end, he was just not FAST enough against button (the clear winner) and Webber (who sure has the way better car). Most of his seven titles he won with a superior car. Let's see how long time it needs when Schumacher can do this in a normal race progress.

  • @astra606 "1 week ago" on a monday does not tell me monday or sunday...

so, you say he won with a supirior car, but in the same sentence you are saying he was way slower then webber and Button(the absolutely NOT clear winner, he only won because of DRS and Vettel dont using the car to the fullest because he felt to safe) but that is because he was in a way slower car then these two. but he managed to get from 12 to 2, getting a couple drivers which have way faster cars then the mercedes...

  • @alexandertrefz "schumachers first six places in this season" you have to reed it CLEARLY, dude...I already said that he was lucky, cuz of the safety car phase (again, you have to READ my sentences clearly!)

To egde buttons CLEAR victory to DRS only proves that you have no idea of racing sports...Vettel was set under immense preassure by button in every turn, wich means that he was forced into his mistake.

  • @astra606 Do you think Button would have cleared Webber and Schumacher (and Massa had Karthikeyan not parked on the racing line whilst being lapped) without the aid of DRS? He did so to Webber, but only because Webber outbraked himself DUE to DRS's effect.

  • @astra606 also: give schumacher a mclaren or a ferrari and he will run on the same level as all the others in that car or a Red Bull(which is(or was due of the diffusor) a bit faster then ferrari/mclaren)

  • @alexandertrefz you can't know that exactly. Alonso, Hamilton, Button, Vettel - these are all current world champions. These are the indicators, not Rosberg who don't even won a race. But we'll never know, if he could keep up the same pace as these drivers. The main important advantage is that they all are much younger than schumacher.

  • @astra606 Well, Turkey he had the pace to do much better, and certainly in Monaco. After Canada and Silverstone, how can you not think he is doing better his year?

  • @MetaKnightsKirby well, we could now start a discussion about DRS, I just see what I see and I think if he's going on like this, he should wake up and take the quickest end of his career, as hard as it sounds.

  • @astra606 Yeah on DRS, all of his overtakes in Canada were without DRS. He alone got himself into second position, and then DRS took it away. Button and Webber MIGHT have got past anyway (add Massa into that had a certain Hispania not parked on the dry line whilst being lapped). Rosberg is yet to improve on his qualy position this year, Schumacher has on a few occasions. Should Rosberg also quit? Should he quit because he is NOT thrashing a 42 year old? Give me a break.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby well, you really should give yourself a second. Schumacher makes a lot of strange and stupid mistakes this season and also destroys others drivers races - wich in turn Rosberg doesen't do. canada was only ONE good race in addition. His wife - Corinna Schumacher said, after Michaels first retirement in '06 that her husband will not give such a misbehavior combeack like Mansell did in 1995, but that exactly now is happened. He should quit now cuz he is up to destroy his own fame.

  • @astra606 Schumacher takes risks and puts his car into places others dont - baring Hamilton and Kobayashi - which acconts for some of it. Should Sutil, di Resta, Hamilton, Vettel etc. all quit because they too make mistakes and make contact?

Canada was a brilliant race for him, shame he missed out on the podium. In Silverstone he got a ridiculously harsh penalty and still finished 9th (di Resta got away with worse); he had the pace to be around the Hamilton/Massa duel near the end. (continued)

  • (continued) What about Monaco? He was doing fine until the car died. Did everybody except me expect him to be right back on the pace instantly? He started behind, but is now probably ahead of Rosberg in terms of pace, and has been better in the races for quite some time (barring the odd missing front wing). If in season testing returns as he wants it to, I wouldnt be suprised if he stayed on longer, the last time he went to a slow team with testing allowed, look what happened to them...

  • @MetaKnightsKirby "Schumacher takes risks" lol YES! and he's actual causing stupid crashes like he did it in Turkey (on Petrow), Valencia (again, on Petrow) or Silverstone (on Kobayashi) ect. ect. (should I continue?) and he wasn't even penalized - except Britain. Schumachers ten seconds stop-and-go penalty was deserved. He kicked Kobayashi out in opposide to the Di Resta-Buemi crash wich was harmless compared to that. Schumacher is just struggling, just like you're struggling for apologies.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby don't involve other drivers, we're actually talking about Michael Schumacher! You know, Schumacher is now 42 years old? What about other drivers, huh? They still have their career ahead. But Schumachers career was over after 2006. It was a huge mistake of come back. The Schumacher we're now see is nothing more than a mere shadow of its former self. The truth is: since he's driving for MGP he's nothing more than a loser, a crash-maker and a number two driver. He should quit now.

  • @astra606 Stop blindly claiming he should quit. He CAN race in the current state of F1, he has shown that. Adapting to a new F1 car mid-season is tough, Fisichella showed this in 2009, so Schumacher's performance in 2010 was to be expected particulary given he had to invent a new way to drive the car. Pace wise, he is there or there abouts with Rosberg. Race craft wise, Schumacher is ahead, hence the simmilar points standings despite the Monaco DNF for Schumi.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby how can you say that I'm claiming that blind, huh? Look what I've said earlier "I see what I see" and what we all see is a trouble-maker - not a seven-times world champion. Maybe he can do races in the current state, but he's doing so bad. His pace ist just mediocrity, he causes accidents in every second race AND he's already in his second season after his comeback - the grace period ist over now. He knows his team and the teams knows him and he still doesn't get it managed.

  • @astra606 You expected a 41 year old to come back into a sport such as F1 from 3 years out into cars completely different to what he has ever driven and do instantly well? 'Perfection' in open wheel racing takes time.

As for the racing incidents, have you noticed it has mainly been with younger rookies/second year drivers? They seem to see Schumacher as a trophy rather than a threat as people did in the past, so his aggresive manouvers dont turn out as well as he would like.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby that's ridicoulus! No driver, whether a rookie or an experienced driver is ready to provoke a crash with someone else. So, can you then tell me, WHY these drivers should see the weak Schumacher as a trophy?

Should I tell you then again, why Schumachers is driving such aggressive manouvers? Because, he struggles with the car. You're right. perfection in open wheel racing takes time. And the racing clock of Michael Schumacher is already gone off.

  • @astra606 Wouldnt you love to be able to claim you overtook Michael Schumacher on-track? There is your answer.

He is driving agressively because he always has, I see no reason to change the way he drives to please his detractors.

He is past his prime, yeah, but why should he quit? He is in it because he enjoys racing, if he was in soly to win he would have left by now.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby defnetly no. rather than, I would love to claim I've overtook Sebastian Vettel or Lewis Hamilton on track. That doesn't make sence at all, cuz it's Schumacher who's running into his victims and crash them out. Or do you think Kobayashi telecontroled Schumachers MGP and drove it into his car at Silverstone? Never mind. He's driving aggresivly cuz he has an aggresive driving style, but that has nothing to do with his silly mistakes. So he makes silly mistakes, cuz his time is by.

  • @astra606 Hamilton, Alonso, Button and Vettel have 5 WDC between them, Schumi has 7. Did you hear Vettels race engineer in Silverstone 2010 after he passed Schumi? It says it all really.

Silly mistakes, ok yes he makes to much. But why are you not demanding Vettel, Di Resta am=nd Hamilton call it quits for their adventures?

He is in because he enjoys it; he said that was the reason for returning himself, that attempting to replace Massa got him 'in the mood' for it, if you get what I mean.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby I think you're the one who doesn't get it. 1st of all: Schumacher won 7 WDC in his first and true career. The Schumacher which we see in the present, is a joke compared to the past. He also told his reason why he came back on a press conference and on interviews, too. Do you REALLY believe in EVERYTHING what is said on an interview? People who become interviewed do not tell the truth everytime. Or did he said that this was his true reason, straight to you, kid? Don't think so.

  • @astra606 Fine, choose to ignore his own words. But ask yourself this, why would he come back for money when he already has by far enough money as it is? Do you think he decided to stand in for Massa because Ferrari effectively bribed him? Why do you think Barrichello and Trulli still race?

Schumacher is Schumacher, he has achieved more than any F1 driver probably ever will, it doesnt matter if he is miles past his prime, he is still Schumacher. (continuing)

  • (continued) If it where another driver in the same situation, showing better racecraft than and pace close to Rosberg but gets himself involved in alot of incidents, would you be calling for him to quit? I suspect not.

For the record, I am a Massa fan, and also supported Raikkonen whilst he was in the sport.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby it doesn't matter how many money he has earned in his past life. If you're able to earn 90 million euro in three years, do'll do it. If you would know what was happened in 2006, you would not always talk about the past. Schumachers contract was going down and ferrari forced him to make a decision after the Monza weekend. Schumacher then declared his career to be over after the season ends. It's true that Ferrari was planning in 2007 with a dreamteam, Raikkönen & Schumacher.

  • @astra606 I know he retired, that is why we are having this convo in the first place, becaus he returned. But... you seriously belive he is back soley for money? Thats almost funny, you know. Schumi is still Schumi, only now he is older he has probably lost an edge. However, the fact that he can still run with Rosberg, who is nearly half his age, should be seen as a good thing, not that Schumi is not blowing him away as a bad thing. Schumi was never the fastest anyway, Raikkonen was faster imo.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby show me a comment from me where I was claiming that money is the only reason, and we can talk again. We are having this convo cuz you don't got my point. nuff said.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby (cont.) you still doesn't get it. We're not talking about any driver. We are talking about Schumacher. well, no. Schumacher is not the same anymore. The Schumacher, we knew was doggedly and resolut so he became the best f1 race driver in history. His decision to came back seen from an athletic point was clearly a destaster. He's now up to destroy his own reputation, which he has hardly raised up for years. Barrichello, Trullie these were always been middle class race drivers.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby (con.:) doesn't matter how many titles Schumacher have collected in the past. You sound like a schumi fan-boy. In 2011, Schumacher is just an average racedriver.

btw: we're not talking about other drivers, so don't involve them into this debatte. We're actual talking about Michael Schumacher. Beside: why should someone demand a young driver to quit? They can make mistakes. These drivers have a future, but Schumachers racing clock is already gone off.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby (cont.): he's still in, because he earns lots of money (about 30 million euro once a year - multiplied by three cuz he signed a three year contract, including all of the advertising revenue of course) that's a really good reason why he enjoys it, beeing "in" even though he's out.

  • @astra606 where are u from who is the top driver from ur country ?? is he good as michael kid ?!

its just the car he drives its bullshit !!!

ur just envious of our good drivers kid !!!

  • @TheAndroid86 looks like you're pretty pissed off, well that's not my prob kid. The top driver of my country is the current league leader vettel.

  • @astra606 ha germans still havent lost the hitler supremacy gene. Hes from our bit of land that obviously makes us great. what it does is make you someone trying to get credit for someone elses achievments.

Im from britain so i totally helped lewis hamilton along to his 2008 world championship.

The thing that is winning is the red bull which is built in the Uk managed in the UK and designed by the best designer in F1 Adrian Nuey (suprise UK)so by that i guess i helped there to.

  • @stellpoons yes, it helped me a lot, seeing what a dumbass twat you are. The problem isn't your so called "hitler supremacy gene" you know a shit about germany, kiddy. Oh and btw: Hitler was born in austria if we're talking about genes and supremacy (Red Bull)

Well, you missed a few things: we're actually talking about Michael Schumacher - the best racedriver in history. He's from - germany, what a suprise! And he was driving for ferrari - both has nothing to do with your "great" britian, haha!

  • @astra606 I think he ment his fitness and something like that. I agree him, he's better than last year, but the car isn't so good than last year.

Hope you understood me, I'm not English ;)

  • @astra606 what is a schumager? macher maybe dude u make ur self look so noob btw love the XD it fits u right total reject ^^

  • @levianthan28 man, shut the fuck...net speaker ^^ XD

btw: are you so rotten that you can't write out YOU? there are much people who call him schumager instead for macher. Didn't you know, NOOB? But I call you annoying rugrat. It fits YOU total reject :P

  • @leprakiraly so is next year with kers, and drs lol, we must wait another year FUCK

  • @leprakiraly Do you mean next year? Because this one he's doing nothing... he should quit and benefit from the doubt. Ayrton Senna is the greatest.

  • @brunosaboia.HONKY!!!!!!! THE FACTS! ARE THE FACTS!

  • @wargod2009 I totally agree. watching or driving Suzuka is a much better than Fuji. Fuji is less complicated but harder in the wrong places. I only know this from driving them on gran turismo which may sound stupid but not only are the tracks almost identical to real life but the car physics are too. plus with a great steering wheel you feel every bump & nuance of the course, you just miss out on obvious things

  • @thnk4urself physics are not identical. dont be silly. they'd be at best 'reasonably similar'.

  • Jesus, that's fast.

  • Formula 1 is like jerking off.

We all... Ejaculate, and we have an orgasm, and we cum, and we say "Uhh, that was the greatest", but then we have to go to sleep.

  • @FormulaOneFactor wtf its nothing like tht

  • @FormulaOneFactor erm you are just a perv

  • Suzuka is far more entertaining than its boring brother Fuji.

  • @wargod2009 yh!!! It sucks that they removed it..

  • I´ve miss that glory days....

  • No one can win in a car that can't compete with the top teams... Schumi will be back once the Mercedes gets good.

  • SCHUMMI IS BACK YEAH

but not in top form ;(

  • @MultiBatistaa sad but true, i kinda wish he isnt back for another year ~_~

  • schumy 1!

  • We fucking need more powerful engines like this back to F1... current ones are a joke, *yawn*.

  • I just ejaculated.

  • He won most of the races and some still think he's not good enough!

  • that was brilliant, what a power that car had, omfg!

  • Im glad the traction control days are over.

  • balls

  • This lap is way over exaggerated. It is not so hard to be the fastest in the best car on the grid. Had another front running driver been in that Ferrari, say Mika Hakkinen or Juan-Pablo Montoya, they could have done the same. Infact, it was the case throughout Schumachers career. When he was winning championships, he always had the best machine...

  • However, you do have to be a great driver to get the maxmium from a great car. Schumacher would have had a much harder time with another driver of his calibre in the same car. And yes, that is possible!

  • @CS7793 please! only michael can drive like this. Montoya isn't half the driver shumi is.

  • @aieljose Only Michael, pfft. Statistics dont mean everything you know. It isn't hard to be this fast in the best car. Had Mika Hakkinen been driving, he would have been able to pull this off as well!

  • @CS7793

f1 and "isnt hard" should never be in the same sentence

  • @dvdcchrn In this case, it can be used. Schumacher was a great driver, but other great driver could be this fast in this car. For any racing driver at that level, it isn't so difficult!

  • @CS7793 check video on youtube "schumacher driving style" .It's not only the best car,but the best driver. Not even his team mates, with the same car, were so fast.

  • @Necrocyklo Schumacher never had a team mate anywhere near his level. I'm not saying he wasn't a great driver, he was. BUT, any driver at his level...such as Hakkinen, could be as fast in that car. Oh and by the way, I've seen that video!

  • The way Schumi attacks those two first corners is mind blowing!

  • love that sound man music to my ears! v10 is a beast!

  • On this demanding track, Yoong managed to get into 107% in qualifying. Very good result for him.

  • The Engine sounds like "WHOAHH !!"

    I can't get enough of these V-10 monster-power sounds =)

  • definitly one of the best driven rounds ever, watch how he throttles on 10 sec laptime, i watched this vid about 1000 times and i definitly reach the million.... hehe

  • INSANE ENGINE SOUND I LOVE THE V10

  • I love 130R - what a turn! How if they would just get rid of the Casino Chicane and let it go straight like it used to, it would be a nice overtaking opportunity and provide some more flat out speed.

  • insane skills

  • F1 these days is like watching Formula Ford compared to these times.

This is real F1...on the edge, FAST cars and traditional circuits.

  • @reds005 no its not. The 2010 cars are, at least at Melbourne, the fastest things ever built on 4 wheels despite all the regulation changes.

  • OMFG!!! =O 1:30

  • Very nice sound.

  • they should raise the rev limit again

  • berger 1991 134.6 with stick shift............

  • Can anyone tell me what is (or was) the 107% rule?, because at the start of the video appears 'All drivers within 107%'

  • @greatmax420

In order to qualify for a race, a driver has to be within 107% of the fastest qualifying lap. So if the fastest guy does a lap of 100 seconds, you have to be within 107 seconds to take part.

  • @Kerchable Hmm, does that rule still exist?

  • I think they got rid of it when they changed the qualifying format to single lap attempts instead of the 1 hour session. It shouldn't be needed any more as the cars are all very similar speeds (although that might change with the new teams this year).

  • In qualification if a driver fails to make a lap time within 107% of the pole sitter, he is not allowed to start the race.

  • @greatmax420 not slower then 107% of best time
