Il TGV è un gran treno, ma questa cosa che è stata fatta (ammesso che le velocità siano vere) è da pazzi. Tutti sanno che oltre i 400 Km/h non è più possibile assicurare l' aderenza ruota-rotaia. Un esperimento da non ripetere, secondo me. Il maglev, invece, è stato inventato per far si che le persone possano viaggiare oltre i 500 Km/h in tutta sicurezza (rendendo concreta la competizione con il trasporto aereo).
The maglev is almost certainly not a true train lets face it it doesn't run on rails and was only a few MPH faster than this tgv which is nothing considering this is a train and the maglev isn't the maglev and its track is a new very expensive peace of technology that isn't practical if it can only do a few MPH faster than this French TGV in other words its a waste of money
our train named ' Sageata Albastra' can go 5 times slower ! but at least I am proud to say that because I live in Romania and we are poor as hell because our government is corrupt

I never watch Olympia on TV, BUT IF IT WAS AN OLYMPIA DISCIPLINE THAT 1.000 PASSENGER SIT DOWN ON A TGV seat or ICE with 50kg (110 pounds) of luggage each, THEN I WOULD LOVE TO WATCH THAT ON TV!!!! Le Katrastophe de la ICE, il montre clairement pourquoi, par exemple, vous construisez "pneus? On n'a pas besoin d'avoir étudié la physique, de comprendre que le métal ne fonctionne pas sur le caoutchouc. I wish they would stop moving the camera to follow the train as you can never feel how fast this thing is. 1:26 is where you can actually see the real speed. Awesome.
the Air adds Friction to the train so without air then there nothing stopping it or slowing it down so the maglev vacuum train can easily top up to 400 MPH or faster.
Well, The maglev is Is a connected series of vehicles (cars or carriages) and moves along a permanent track it just floats above it but still it moves (follows) along a permanent track it is hard to tell but I believe the maglev is a train
@seriouslytrains a maglev is a maglev, it doesnt use rails. it only uses them to get up to a speed and then magnets take over. it is not a conventional train. technically speaking this french train is the fastest train in the world. end of story

The TGV is actually the Fastest Train in the world for (Land Speed Record) Which means the MLX01 is the fastest maglev in the world.

Add a full 360 maglev tunnel. Three analogies come to mind.
1. old vacuum tube message tubes
2. TheLHC -Cern.....a tube with A LOT of magnetics.

Since the maglev doesn't push or pull air, only tries to deflect it efficiently,
I'd call it a GLIDER.
It uses wheels til 140kmph, (takeoff).
How much lift is produced by the leading edge of the train at 500 kmph...?
