I'm another who had to see this after Ellen talked about it on her show. I think Kirsten held herself together pretty well considering the amount of tension building in the room. Poor girl, poor man, for him I think some people are only book smart and aren't really socially adept.

@go1tigers haha we must have seen the same rerun. kirsten dunst was referring to 00:46. not sure what she said but judging by her giggling, it doesn't seem like she made a serious attempt to shut him up. then again she did look down and shake her head at his response. either way i think kirsten is making an effort to get it out there that she realized his comments were ridiculous and that she doesn't agree with them.

Von Trier is confused. Which is probably his normal state of mind. That is not someone to expect a sharp political analysis from. What's really interesting in that video is Dunst's facial expressions and body language. So clearly readable. "Take me away from here. I want to be anywhere now, but here!" I pity her, but it IS funny to watch.

I mean most of Hollywood which includes those behind the camera as well as in front of it openly support Roman Polanski who was convicted of drugging then raping a 14 year old girl and then left the country so he wouldn't go to jail. So raping and drugging a 14 year old is okay but say something about Hitler joking and they ban you from festivals.
