Thank You to all the men and women in the United States of America Armed Forces for all you for your country. My prayers are with all of you and your families. Thank You & GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!
If budweiser really gave a shit they would give all returning servicemen and women a case of beer for free..........but that might cut into their two billon dollar profits for the year and we cant have that now can we?
@btownmxer why can't they say thank you? honestly it was prefect for me. Servicemen and women aint lookin for any hand outs. theyre just doing what they feel is right. serving their country for our freedom.
@805RedNeck bottom line is in the abstract they truly do not give a shit whatsoever its just the "in" thing to do......persuasive and bandwagon advertising. As far as handouts go..... if a mortgage company were to give out free houses to anyone who entered the military and fought in afghanistan or Iraq....you would see the population of the armed forces skyrocket! They would be standing in line to sign up.. just sayin
@btownmxer they are already in line to join. the military is turning away people everyday, because they don't need anymore people. everyone has their own reasons for joining, some are serving because they want to do their duty for their country, the money, because they have no where else to go... etc. theirs so many reasons and a free house or a free pizza isn't one of them. they dont need that. they have military housing for as long as they stay in. If they dont want that the military will pay
@btownmxer for the house they choose. they get extra money from the military to help them take care of their family. i could go on & on about what the benefits of the military are for days, but what im trying to say is that the military members already work hard everyday for what they get they dont need hand outs. its a simple and honest thank you, the kids who think your a hero, the sense of pride you get just wearin the uniform. thats just some of the things that make it worth riskin your life
Thank you for taking the time to contact Anheuser-Busch.

This is why the United States of America is the GREATEST country in the world. @smildonfatalis1 Actually, many people at the airports do applaud troops when they return home. It is truly breathtaking. Proud niece of an uncle returning home from Afghanistan twice.
@smildonfatalis1 guess you've never been to an airport in TX. I came home for mid tour leave, and we were escorted through the terminal on a walkway above the main concourse. The people below us stood up and started clapping and cheering.
@smildonfatalis1 You don't have to wish. Next time you're at the airport and see military personnel arriving or departing, nobody will stop you as a civilian from saying thanks.

@buttercow12 rofl, ya no civillians have died in Iraq or Afghanistan. You people are so brainwashed. What do you think SHOCK AND AWE WAS??? WHEN YOU DROP 4000 BOMBS ON A CITY OF 6 MILLION PEOPLE.....
@garic2k yea but we dont INTEND to kill innocents. and i never said no civvies dies, i just stated that there is no intentional shootings of people. and the bomb thing, that doesnt come from the military, but from higher ups in the government/military system.
@buttercow12 rofl, took me 1 second to prove you wrong...
Article historyA jury yesterday convicted a former US soldier of raping and fatally shooting a 14-year-old Iraqi girl after killing her parents and younger sister.
Steven Dale Green faces a possible death sentence when the penalty phase of his trial begins on Monday.
@Zaxxen69 thats cool and all, but why do you search this shit up? and why do you care so much? maybe if you knew people that have died actually serving over there and not killing innocent people your opinion would change. If you dont like our troops, just keep it to yourself. I think the steven green person has just lost it. imagine all the stress they are going through overseas.
@ coolerdoncooper do you not remember 9/11 thats why where over there and we are not killing innocent Iraqis and afganis we have CAs if you can't remember CA establish relations with the citizens and help improve there lives and there also some Iraqis that want us to nuke them because they hate their country I saw that story on mainstream media CBS and approved by Bret Baier on Fox as true
@3rosesred - it's not "our" military power. I have written my "representatives" many, many, many times and never gotten anything but a form letter in response. However, large political lobbies gain personal audiences with my "representative" all the time. I am represented by no one in that gov.If people choose to join the military and risk thier lives that's their choice. They are not fighting for my freedom. Not one single Iraqi ever threatened my safety or my freedom. Nor did one singl Afghani.
Its interesting that while many will say they will never return which may be true, They are defending those who may refuse to go or can't go so they can live their lives in peace. Freedom isn't free. Unfortunately there are those who in our country, who seem to fail to recognize many things that our Armed Services do on a positive aspect aside from waging wars.
To me, It looks like strong, young, healthy men and women shipping out to war. The old woman knows many of them will never reach her age, and the woman almost looks like she is greeting one of the men, the ghostly forms start to radiate a bit, and the guy at the end is looking back on what he is about to die for. One LAST look at America and her people.
@orezorez : i just googled this ad because i heard an interview with the ad executive guy who worked on the budweiser commercials. anyway, HE said this was the best one, and that it's actual soldiers, not actors, who are *returning home*... but your take on it is very touching, and very interesting. (esp. since one wonders how many of them have/will redeploy).
@Xtony90 - It's not "your" corps. Hard working Americans pay for all the military's activities and just b/c the gov decides to do something sure as hell doesn't make it right. I, like millions of others, support having a defense force to protect America, unfortunately what the gov is doing with the "corps" is not only unconstiutional and immoral but also fiscally irresponsible and economically damaging. You and I and my kids will be paying for it for years to come.
@Xtony90 - I'm a vet too numb-nuts. I understand that I am capable of critical thinking and am not subjected to believing whatever some flunky from the military or the gov tells me. People with no identity or feeling of purpose in life get that from the corps. The rest of us don't need it. Don't be mad at us for being smarter. Be mad at yourself or your parents or your education system for not raising you better.
all you ass holes sayin that americans kill so many innocent in iraq and afghan. suicide bombers blow them selves up in amrket squares bc the people their dont believe in the same allah as them. suicide bombers flew some boeing 747s into the world trade centers and the pentagon. the taliban kill civilians with firing squads, for not supporting them. so, to all the piece of shit idiots ripping on american forces, fuck u, have a shitty day. to any service members, thank u for serving.
This made me sick to stomach and very sad to see so many Americans applauding the innocent killing of Afghans, Iraqi's, Pakistani's and Americans for nothing. Nobody over there threatens my security here and I don't need to U.S. gov - the model of lying, corruption abuse - to try to convince me they do. They are not serving their country, they are serving the gov doing their dirty work.
@webmetoo - a hero is someone who gives of himself for the benefit of others. How do all the dead Afghans, Iraqi's, Pakistani's, Yemen's, Panamanians, Japanese etc... benefit from the U.S. military soldiers? Ignorance is not a crime. Choosing to stay ignorant is irresponsible.
@coolerdoncooper So you you are not American right? If you are here, then you should go back to Afhan, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen.. cuz you do not belong in the US.. These people risk their life to protect the Liberty that makes the US what it is. It is not their choice of what they are told to do, they do it because they volunteer and risk their life to protect our country. Again, they do not make the decisions, they are heroes because they do something that most of us do not have the balls to do!
@webmetoo - bullshit! Neither Iraq nor Afghanistan threatened me and my familiy's liberty in any way. No one was trying to take my liberty away. All they've done is take the Afghani and Iraqi liberties away. They are not protecting our country in any way. The money being spent on these immoral wars is bankrupting the country. They are not heroes. Millions of Americans do not "do what they do" because they are moral people and do not condone the murderous actions of the military as you do.
Thank You- because of american servicemen, I don't have to get drafted to kill people that i don't know. America, you do all the killing for me so I don't have to.
Awesome video, mate. This is the way it should be, but it's not. There are too many socialist scumbags who have infiltrated our country, trying to make our great country one of mediocricy. I thank our armed forces for allowing me the opportunity to pursue my dreams. There are so many socialists in this country who curse our armed forces, yet they want to enjoy freedom and security? Hypocrites who lack depth and perspective of any kind.
Bigp426. Maybe it wasn't like that for your sorry ass, but for my mom it was exactly like this. she served in the Gulf war back then and when she returned she got this greeting. it was wonderful.
to bad its not real when my stepfather came home on leave he was in the airport in his blues and some civilian piece of trash spit on him and dumped a shit load of coke on him and him being a marine he kept perfect military bearing got up and walked away
Its not like that at all. You get the occasional thanks for serving which is awesome to hear. You get the older retired people who come up and share stories which is awesome. But most of the time people just look at you then look away and carry on like its nothing. Good commercial, but this just doesn't happen anymore. We're disliked much more than liked.
@Bigp426 That's due to the bad publicity about civilian causalities by collateral damage. Those people are forgetting that these are mistakes and aren't committed on purpose with an intent to kill civilians. Soldiers are above and beyond terrorists in morals and virtue and would never consciously commit such crimes. War is brutal and there will always be causalities. The strength lies in keeping the affected innocents at an absolute minimum and helping those unfortunate enough to suffer.
i leave for parris island July 26th and i go to a catholic high school where im one of two joining the military, the other kid goin air force, i cant get two referrals to become a pfc
Hope you get those referrals brotha. Lol I got 4 so far and I haven't even left for boot yet. At least I get some cool shit and I'll be PFC when I go through boot. Lcpl when I go to MOS because I have so many referrals, I got two waiting for when i get back on my 10 day leave.
you havent left for boot camp yet? who is changing stories? you made yourself out to be some big dick military honcho. it seems to me that you are in EXACTLY the same position as i am. go fuck yourself you clown.
I know. You get PFC with 2 referrals and when you get BACK from boot on your 10 day leave you can try and get 2 more referrals. If you do you will get Lcpl before you go to MOS school... I had never heard of it either. Buddy of mine did it and I asked my recruiter and its true.
this happened when my dad came home to vancouver , canada with only a section of his men. they were only coming home from a training excercise in texas in 2005 and i remember seeing this when myself and my mom were picking him up
This is my favorit of all military commericals. My cousion, is in the US Army, I had great respect for him before he joined the servise, now, words cannot describe the respect I have for him and ever man and women serving intodays armed services. It is because of them, that we have our freedoms, never forget what they did for use, sulute the ones who died for us, because of them, Old Glory flies, the Egale is still in the sky, and freedom forever rings. God Bless America.
Not even American (Pakistani actually) but this gave me goosebumps....Long live your armed forces and bring peace to a world in crisis. Your forces are the only reason nukes aren't flying in every direction and dictators still wake up in a cold sweat every morning. Long live freedom. i wish I could experience it.
@bigbad1000do7a - "Your forces are the only reason nukes aren't flying in every direction". How funny since the U.S. military is the only one to ever "fly nukes" and kill innocent people with them. Since Russia has as many nukes as the U.S. you could also say that it's only becuase of them that nukes aren't flying, especially American nukes. I guess it makes sense that a bunch of drunks would like a Budweiser commercial.
@SFCMAC57 - normally I don't respond to adolescent, drunk, blind people, but I'll make the effort here. I'm a vet. I know exactly what the U.S. military is all about. I'm an economist. I understand very well what the U.S. gov's foreign policy is doing to this country, financially and socially. I, and millions more, support whole heartedly maintaining a national defense force to protect the U.S. NOT to "police the world". We have no right, we have no money, we have no ability to do that.
Watching this makes me feel like crying, this soldiers are so praud of what they are doing. Sometime they forget about everything ( family ) just to serve their country. My Wife is one of them, I don't understand why she is doing it , but I am so proud of her. Makes me angry sometimes, but respect her decision. Lov Her to death.
My husband has been gone for a year. We have two kids and people don't see what all they are leavin behind to fight for everyone in this country.. God bless every single one of them. I miss him so much.. =(
Princess: PLEASE tell your husband THANK YOU for so many of us civilians. PLEASE tell him that many of us are doing our parts too - we vote and we do jury duty if called. These are, of course, two Constitutional rights he's protecting.
To all the men and women protecting us in the armed forces, Thank you. I am grateful.
Also thanks to my two uncles, cousin that served in the armed forces and also my grandpa r.i.p.
I realize the reason i can sleep safe is because you guys uphold the freedom and justice we take for granted. I aint a pacifist so... KICKsome ass over there, you got my blessing.

@buttercow12 rofl, ya no civillians have died in Iraq or Afghanistan. You people are so brainwashed. What do you think SHOCK AND AWE WAS??? WHEN YOU DROP 4000 BOMBS ON A CITY OF 6 MILLION PEOPLE.....
garic2k 10 months ago
@garic2k yea but we dont INTEND to kill innocents. and i never said no civvies dies, i just stated that there is no intentional shootings of people. and the bomb thing, that doesnt come from the military, but from higher ups in the government/military system.
buttercow12 10 months ago
@buttercow12 rofl, took me 1 second to prove you wrong...
Article historyA jury yesterday convicted a former US soldier of raping and fatally shooting a 14-year-old Iraqi girl after killing her parents and younger sister.
Steven Dale Green faces a possible death sentence when the penalty phase of his trial begins on Monday.
Zaxxen69 10 months ago
@Zaxxen69 thats cool and all, but why do you search this shit up? and why do you care so much? maybe if you knew people that have died actually serving over there and not killing innocent people your opinion would change. If you dont like our troops, just keep it to yourself. I think the steven green person has just lost it. imagine all the stress they are going through overseas.

Unfortunately there are those who in our country, who seem to fail to recognize many things that our Armed Services do on a positive aspect aside from waging wars.
thedarkprinceVvvvV 1 year ago
To me, It looks like strong, young, healthy men and women shipping out to war. The old woman knows many of them will never reach her age, and the woman almost looks like she is greeting one of the men, the ghostly forms start to radiate a bit, and the guy at the end is looking back on what he is about to die for. One LAST look at America and her people.
Well, that's what I got from it at least....
orezorez 1 year ago
@orezorez : i just googled this ad because i heard an interview with the ad executive guy who worked on the budweiser commercials. anyway, HE said this was the best one, and that it's actual soldiers, not actors, who are *returning home*... but your take on it is very touching, and very interesting. (esp. since one wonders how many of them have/will redeploy).

Xtony90 1 year ago
@Xtony90 - It's not "your" corps. Hard working Americans pay for all the military's activities and just b/c the gov decides to do something sure as hell doesn't make it right. I, like millions of others, support having a defense force to protect America, unfortunately what the gov is doing with the "corps" is not only unconstiutional and immoral but also fiscally irresponsible and economically damaging. You and I and my kids will be paying for it for years to come.
coolerdoncooper 1 year ago

Corps is capitalized, and you wouldn't understand. It is my Corps, it is every Marines Corps.
Xtony90 1 year ago

MassAxeMurderer 1 year ago
This made me sick to stomach and very sad to see so many Americans applauding the innocent killing of Afghans, Iraqi's, Pakistani's and Americans for nothing. Nobody over there threatens my security here and I don't need to U.S. gov - the model of lying, corruption abuse - to try to convince me they do. They are not serving their country, they are serving the gov doing their dirty work.

webmetoo 1 year ago
@webmetoo - a hero is someone who gives of himself for the benefit of others. How do all the dead Afghans, Iraqi's, Pakistani's, Yemen's, Panamanians, Japanese etc... benefit from the U.S. military soldiers? Ignorance is not a crime. Choosing to stay ignorant is irresponsible.
coolerdoncooper 1 year ago
@coolerdoncooper So you you are not American right? If you are here, then you should go back to Afhan, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen.. cuz you do not belong in the US.. These people risk their life to protect the Liberty that makes the US what it is. It is not their choice of what they are told to do, they do it because they volunteer and risk their life to protect our country. Again, they do not make the decisions, they are heroes because they do something that most of us do not have the balls to do!
webmetoo 1 year ago
@webmetoo - bullshit! Neither Iraq nor Afghanistan threatened me and my familiy's liberty in any way. No one was trying to take my liberty away. All they've done is take the Afghani and Iraqi liberties away. They are not protecting our country in any way. The money being spent on these immoral wars is bankrupting the country. They are not heroes. Millions of Americans do not "do what they do" because they are moral people and do not condone the murderous actions of the military as you do.
coolerdoncooper 1 year ago
Thank You- because of american servicemen, I don't have to get drafted to kill people that i don't know. America, you do all the killing for me so I don't have to.

Awesome video, mate. This is the way it should be, but it's not. There are too many socialist scumbags who have infiltrated our country, trying to make our great country one of mediocricy. I thank our armed forces for allowing me the opportunity to pursue my dreams. There are so many socialists in this country who curse our armed forces, yet they want to enjoy freedom and security? Hypocrites who lack depth and perspective of any kind.

Jake9123 2 years ago
Its not like that at all. You get the occasional thanks for serving which is awesome to hear. You get the older retired people who come up and share stories which is awesome. But most of the time people just look at you then look away and carry on like its nothing. Good commercial, but this just doesn't happen anymore. We're disliked much more than liked.
Bigp426 2 years ago
@Bigp426 That's due to the bad publicity about civilian causalities by collateral damage. Those people are forgetting that these are mistakes and aren't committed on purpose with an intent to kill civilians. Soldiers are above and beyond terrorists in morals and virtue and would never consciously commit such crimes. War is brutal and there will always be causalities. The strength lies in keeping the affected innocents at an absolute minimum and helping those unfortunate enough to suffer.
