@Cinqmil Hundreds of creationists have PHDs and can can use real science to expose the religion of evolution for what it really. I just don't have enough blind faith in magic to believe in evolution which does not even have enough evidence to be called a "theory. You believe in fairy tales and real science supports this view as the impossibility of evoltion.

I don't believe in creation at all but I can't support the way Plimer went about this. Instead of getting adversarial he should have just let Gish talk. The whole audience would have come to the conclusion that Gish doesn't really know what he is talking about.

Anyone who supports Plimer's tactics here reveals a lot more than their position on the subject being debated.

He didn't attempt to electrocute him. If he had wanted to do that he would have put the wires on him. He knew that Gish wouldn't touch the wires, so it's obvious that he was simply making a point The point being that Gish, and other creationists, knowingly take advantage of the poor layman understanding of what the word "theory" means in a scientific context.

Gish got what he deserved, but not as much as he deserved.

Young Earth creationism is a lie and those who support it are deliberate and persistent liars. It exists to take tithes from the ignorant and the stupid for the pastors to pay off their churches and for the enrichment of a few.

It is a blight on Christianity, just as papal indulgences were centuries ago and at long last a few genuine clergymen with genuine degrees in theology are beginning to wake up to that.
