Amy is the best at explaining how to make soap, she makes it plain and simple. I bought all 3 of her e-books and they got me started in both liquid and bar soap. Thanks Amy.
i have seen people make liquid soap and laundry soap with using bars of soap to start out with, now with using the lye method does that make a better quality liquid soap, i plan on making some but want to make good quality soap..i have worked with lye before making biodiesol so am fimilar with the process,
Thanks so much for these videos! I am an experienced cp/hp soapmaker but have never felt confident enough to attempt liquid soap (even though I've had a few pounds of POH stowed away for years!). One reason is that the book I have and some websites made the process appear a bit more difficult than it needed to be. Thanks for making this more "do-able" for me.
@311scootertrash LOLz! Goggles are ALWAYS a good idea. And yes, I had mine on when making it. I appreciate the feedback--glad you like the books and videos!
great video...I purchased your 1st book but my computer crashed and now i have lost everything...but it really was a good book, very good information and recipes...
@athomas1124 Omg! I'm so sorry to hear that. Please email me privately and let me know--if I can find your transaction on Paypal I'll send you the book again. :)
I didn't know that you could speed up trace using heat! Thanks for the tip, Amy. I think it took me about half an hour to bring my last liquid soap to trace, so this will help me a lot.
hi, can i use any pot i have at home, or rice cooker is better?

Thanks for the feedback, TangledNana. I have written a book on the subject that has all the details, if you are interested. It is absolutely do-able.
