i use the duncan deluxxe metal drifter and it sleeps for 47 seconds. the only problem is..., friction stickers. they wear out so quick, and once they wear out my yoyo is SUPER unresponsive

For the people who use dark magic 2, i just got 1 and it doesn't sleep long... sleeps for 30 seconds, my yomega dash sleeps longer.Any reason.. Also while i do tricks like slit the atom and brain twister the string pops of the bearing and my yoyo falls. Lastly, how does taking off the caps help...

@TrueSky1 if u didnt know, most name brand butterfly yoyos include a bearing which allows it to spin for very large amounts of time unlike most of the cheapo yoyos that u can find at the store

@maxjaffrey make sher u have enuf string to land it on so it duznt hit ur finger- also make sher when u do the mount every finger but ur pointer finger it clenched or inside ur hand - so only ur pointer finger on both hands are out hope it helps-if it doesnt then watch some different vids =]

@97kyriakos i imagine that this question was already answered but if not i would say no. if its a imperial style especially not because they are mainly used for loopng tricks and i dont really remember any cheap butterfly style yoyos. So u should invest in a yoyo online. u can get a decent yoyo for like 10-20 bucks.

@MrWills0n The dark magic 2? yeah it can be. It comes with two bearings. a regular one that makes it responsive. and the "speed" one that makes it unresponsive. It's way better unresponsive. Binding really isn't as hard to do as it looks.

@JordanBrooksRoss ok. Finally got the dark magic. I'm not that good but i love this thing. took me a while to get used to binding everytime cause im not that good at it. but after playing with it all day i got it down. It came with two bearings. "speed" bearing and regular. The regular bearing makes it responsive the speed one doesnt. Sleep time right outta the box with the speed one was 2:28. after lubing it, it was 2:49. I recommend it. Really good. It makes all my tricks easier.
