I'm fat and 50 and life has never been so good. I couldn't say this if I were still fixated on weight loss; I'd be too busy counting calories and carbs to enjoy my friends and family. Too busy blaming myself for not being able to control my body size to find fun things to do and good books to read. Work, play, love - THAT's what I want my life to be about, NOT dieting. I wear my swimsuit in public and go swimming, I go to baseball games, I go shopping, I go to movies, I go where I want and do what I want. I do it all as a fat woman and I'm not going to stop living my life fat at the world for anyone. I'm also happily married, thank you very much.
