my comp is about 720$

its running wii games in hd and games that dont need to be emulated for hd -like normal pc games

and its running them better then a ps3 could.

but to be honest, ps3 games (or console games at all) are designed to run as good as possible on specific hardware.

computers differ from each other what makes it more difficult to get the same performance.

and sometimes the developers just screw it up :P of course comps hav many pros too

i grew up with nintendo, played countless great games.

i think there are good games on the other consoles too,

but i am with nintendo and ill always be!

and because of nintendo took more time to make games, then i took to complete them ;/

i bought a gaming pc.for pc games, also nintendo games and many other good reasons.

4 example it has a very cool case and shit. ;/

and theres nothing it cant do with data. the force is just with you :)

The cool thing is that now in 2010, you can do a easy NES PC with one of those ION Platform motherboards and they are quite small.

However, to make it run a Wii game will be like pushing a bit far... but your build is pretty promising,

does an upscaler for wii would do the same thing? upscaler can go up to 1080p

@Atstyle yes (kind of) The dolphin emulator will play game at native 1920*1080 but if you but an upscaller for a wii, it will play at "upscaled" 720*480 to 1920*1080, That won't look bad but no where as good as native 1080i/p. Compare 720*480 to 1920*1080, That will involve alot of upscaling so that means jagged edges but it will look better than 720*480 via AV/Scart cables. Using dolphin will also be able to have anti-aliasing. 1280*720 or 1920*1080 native is better than 2560*1440 upscalled!

Windows Seven is the easiest operating-system i've ever used. My spouse and i dled it cost-free from Windows7FreeDLXcom (replace X with . ) and have never had problems!

that's not possible. geforce is made by NVIDIA, and wii's graphic card is made by ATI. so... learn this, the wii's graphic card is ATI hollywood. go look at the side of ur wii, it even says ATI there lol

I was going to take this same project on a few months back, but decided to just buy a Wii console after the price drop. Games wise, I've got them running off an external hd, and all the emulators with roms loaded on an sd card. All I need is time to play everything!
