i was a vault 101 resident. i even made a pipboy. i used a broken ipod touch for the screen and clay / paper machay (spelled it wrong) for the base. painted bottle caps orange for the buttons and pressed them into the clay. looked pretty realistic. you can buy the vault suit online and black combat / hiking boots are obviously easy to find.

I think that the costume was expertly done, a step up from any costumes i have seen like this, but one suggestion you should have done: since the raiders are more on the lines of atompunk subculture, some more bright colours, and perhaps some more work on the shoulder pads and gloves would have been more like the real thing :)
