la pelicula es buena "cine dentro del cine" que curioso aun asi hay que ser un experto en cine para saber que filmes son los mas recordados dentro de la pelicula aunque en general en la pelicula los actores no se refieren mucho al tema lo que posiblemente la haria mas atractiva; lo que hacen es aplicarla medianamente a la vida cotidiana mas exactamente al amor que experimenta totto y las frases de alfredo.

This movie is my favorite movie of all time. the music alone makes me cry, I met an Italian girl 2 years ago, we fell in love and our 1st conversation was about cinema paradiso, she didnt know it, I told her the story and she loved it, we started dating and CP took a back seat, eventually her time in Ireland was up and she had to go home, I haven't seen her since, but before she left I gave her the dvd with a note, and told her I wouldn't watch this movie again until I could watch it with her..

@commentorme Thanks alot, unfortunately for all the romantics out there it didn't end like Hollywood would've liked. I met her again in March 2009 when she visited for St. Patricks day, I had been going out with my current girlfriend for 5 months at the time and decided not to throw it away although I considered it, however my current girlfriend is a girl I chased for 8 months before I got her so I suppose I'm glad I didn't throw it all away....

And if it's meant to be, it'll happen :)

This is my all-time favorite romantic movie..it tops "Casablanca". I bought the old version, which I understand had about 40 minutes chopped from the director's cut. Now I want to get the extended version after seeing this trailer. I was so impressed with this movie that I made a music video of certain scenes that seem to go perfectly with the song, "She will be Loved" by Maroon Five. I think I added it as a video response.
