He wasn't a member at that time. =] This was one of the last shows with Ferris, and I think the first show with Axel. Some months I guess later Axel change Ferris permanentely.

@BahHumbug1843 It's believed that Rick was ill and they invited Axel (the band's studio assistant of that time) to replace Rick. And why Ferris left the group, heh, not sure...

@Rutionous Official was that Ferris want to play solo with his carrer.. but it was only marketing version that will keept band on good image.. Really Jens Thele and others kick't out Ferris because he has depression and problems on private sight.. They don't try help or something.. just told him that was the end of his work in band.. In 2010 he break the silence and in present time he have a bad relation with group Find on YT "Ferris Bueller bei Scooter gemobbt" and Ferris Buehler on Facebook

I always adored this song since the first time I heard it in 97 because it was like HP knew what our generation and the future generations were in store for. It was like a prediction of after 99 ended with the demise of the economy and 9/11, etc. These are just my thoughts but the lyrics seem to tell of how bleak the future might possibly be and for the most part the lyrics are very on the money.
