  • 400RMS 800MAXX

  • Can you even put down your backseat?

  • I agree with these people you arnt even running those to your potential, or to lowest potential get em bumpin with a better amp.

  • How much did all of this cost ?

  • first song please

  • Bangin system. Hits hard enough from what I can hear!

  • what kind of steering wheel cover is that and what is that first song

  • 1st song????

  • Comment removed

  • waaaay underpowerd my 2 12s hit a loooot harder

  • underpowered

  • I'm having a hard time deciding on good bass for my screw f150... Are you getting that smooth bass that tickles your stomach?

  • how much room do you have under the back seat after the sub? Because I have a 2001 f-150 4-door and I want some subs.

  • I got three P3 12's with a custom box in a Mustang. There are 3000 pushing them. You guys need to step your game up.

  • where did you buy these? im tryna get the same set up fer my truck

  • @ninezerofour how much did all that cost you with the subs, boxes, and amp

  • what songs were playing?

  • How much air do they move? like.. would I be able to hold a piece of paper up to my window and cause it to move? lol

  • song name?

  • If u put both if them in a bigger box ported they probably sound better

  • haters gonna hate

  • Shits weak!..

  • people can still sit in the back rite?

  • is there anything i can buy and still have the back seats for ppl

  • can people still sit in the back?

  • If your looking for deep bass find a shop that carries Earthquake shallows ,only sub on market that will give full 2inch excursion like a normal woofer

  • That looks exactly like my setup right now (check my vid) Have you made the boxes bigger yet? And are your ported?

  • amp blows

  • what amp is better, RF 4000 amp or this hifonic .,>?

  • @12mrJL RF 4000 would blow that hifonics AWAY! I mean in amps wise i would take hifonics and rockford anyday of the week cause they are good amps but 4000rms+ is what that rf should be pushing

  • Song name

  • That's cleeeeean man good job on the setup.

  • how is the low bass?? cuz i got 2 kicker compvt and the low bass aint good, just wonderin

  • I just borrowed some of these subs from a friend of mine... I currently have 12" cvr on my 2010 ram but they sound just ok... Plus they smell like burnt if i really crank it up... I was thinkong of putting 10" solo barics but i will see how these speakers sound tomorrow...

  • its sounds like yours are making the same weird sound as mine. almost like a slight ringing/rattling noise. i dont really know how to explain it. but they sound good.

  • how hard does the bass hit. cause im looking for some for my 2000 f150 and i wanna know if these are the right choice. i like the shallows for pick ups.

  • @MJBruno180 Just ordered some yesterday, These were the only ones i found that were Dual Voice coil... Kickers shallow's, and Pioneers shallows were single voice coil.

  • @MJBruno180 hits hard for some under the seat shallow subs i like these subs there good for the price and quality

  • @ninezerofour where did you get that stuff from? caus im looking to put speakers under my back seat in my ford. and i wanna know how much it all cost to do it. minus the radio cause i have one. and can you put your seats down and is th back seat still functional??.

  • @MJBruno180 the place i got mine at only puts downfires in trucks i have these but they face down and sound good

  • @MJBruno180 i would go with kicker

  • @MJBruno180 i have a normal sub in my 1989 f150 and it is ok u just give up some leg room

  • @MJBruno180

Don't buy fosgate subs. They have good amps but the subs are cheaply made now.

  • How much inner box space do them things need?

  • a better version of this song is the same name but slowwed and bass boosted!

  • Pretty nice System. I wanna put 2 p3 shallow 12 inches in My cargo van. I need custom box.

  • What type of boxes are they housed in?

  • You're supposed to put shallow mount subs in the panels or tailgate or hidden. You can put any subs in a box that big...I don't see the point.

  • your fucking retarted if u you crack your subs they arent spose to go that loud (Welder4570)

  • your fucking retarted if u you crack your subs they arent spose to go that loud (Welder4570

  • hey whats the ohms on those subs? thnx in advance!

  • regular f150 supercab? looks like a 97-99 model? how do 2 12's sound in a supercab?

  • Sounds good. You can still hear the vocals unlike most peoples systems posted on here.

  • sweet setup man. I have the same Headunit.

  • sweet setup man.

  • lol, i seen the guy on the other vid talkin shit and ur shits better, just needs a better box

  • clean setup bro, but i wouldnt mess with rockfords new stuff, and hifonics is sort of a no no, look up audioque, incriminator audio, or sundown audio. alot better stuff man

  • @BryceHinton

dont think any of them make a shallow sub?

  • @betrayed1 how much room do you have to work with? dd audio's 1010b sub is only 5 inches from mounting ring to end of magnet.

  • that sux

  • how much money did this whole setup cost? subs amp all thtat shit??

  • you need some screens in there

  • what are the demensions of the box

  • Nice, But What is the point of getting shallows for this setup?

  • were did you get those

  • speakers sound good

  • damn those things are shaking the rear view mirror and there not even hitting at all, thats crazy

  • I'm not a pro but I think your subs are clipping.

  • What the name of the second song? With the pacman theme kinda?

  • how much did the system cost u ?

  • u need a better box for those woofers bro they kick ass on a long run boix from side to side i have 2 12'' same with the long box under the sitt and the fucken bump same am a 2000w

  • idk if its your boxes pinging and you need some like polyfil in your boxes or something to make it have more depth or if its your camera but tht doesnt sound right...

  • in the fords, i wouldnt do anything bigger than 10's under the back seat. with the amount of airspace with no seat lift at all, the box could provide enough space for a single 12. also, make your next box downfire. loading the subs off the floor will hit harder than loaded to the bottom of the seat. best bet would be a fiberglass box for those 12's, that way you dont waste space with 3/4 mdf since you need it. good start though man

  • whats the second song? the one with mike jones

  • Sweet setup.

  • what the second song?

  • @romario209 shine cuz i grind

  • Comment removed

  • man you rockin gansta mike jones lol

  • You have he exact set up I want

  • I have one of these subs, I built a box that has 1.1 cubic feet of air space with fiberglass insulation in the box. I previously had it in a box about the size of the ones you have here. Let me tell you, world of difference. Mine only gets 300W RMS, shakes everything/everyone in the truck.

  • @GeneralK494 plan on building better boxes

  • @GeneralK494 why in the world did you get a shallow mount sub if you put it in a 1.1 cu ft enclosure... Now thats just stupid.

  • @masterwolf1212 I originally bought it and made a box that fit under my seat. After awhile I got bored of that and made a box that was the optimal air space for the sub because I felt like it. I wish I would have went ahead and bought the full size sub instead of the shallow. As soon as I blow the one I have I'm buying a better one.

  • @GeneralK494 I see. Why not just buy a new one, why do you have to wait to blow your current one? xP

  • Anyone know where I could get a setup like this ( shallows) in a kit with amp wires boxes ect? An ok brand would be nice but need to keep it under $300

  • yea bro, like the comments above, no matter how big the sub, if ur box is shit, u hit shit, make sure to look up wat the recommended air space they need. my buddy has 2 kicker cvt 10's in a king ranch in a sealed box and that shit slams. i got a 12" solo baric l7 that i have yet to make videos of.... i think i may have the same truck as you

  • @DragonWagon6 wtf?

  • @DragonWagon6 higher rms at lower ohms

  • hey man what is the name of that song?

  • do the shallow mounts sound as good as the deep ones

  • @TnTravelers33 in general no they dont because theres not as much room but the fosgates bump like crazy for shallow mount

  • does it sound more higher pitched then it should cause the boxes arnt big enough??

  • hifonics sucks ass but nice subs man check out me 4 12's Rockford P3's!

  • nice bass

  • hey what kind of box?

  • i wouldn't have done shallow subs in that, you have plenty of space.

  • RF+hifonics=the best of both worlds.thanks for the video

  • were did you get ya boxes

  • wat is the total cost? of whole system

  • Nice setup, did it require you to raise the seat?

  • Hey man i just got thess subs and i there is a 2 inch crack in the the front plastic and do yall think that it would mess up the sound?

  • @welder4570 if its just the cover i dont think so maybe put some scotch tape over the crack would help

  • @ninezerofour its in he middle of the sub were it says rockford fosgate and i dont know about scotch tape cuz of looks you know!

  • @ninezerofour would the p1's fit in a box like that because i have a 2004 toyota tacoma and im trying to find out if p3's may hit hard enought to have in my cab let me know you have any advice please and thanks

  • @ninezerofour doude that sound pretty good but i have been looking at P1's would they fit in a box like that or do the p3's it hard enought i have a 2004 toyota tacoma so it is a small cab let me know what is up

  • @ninezerofour or super glue

  • @ninezerofour electrical tape works better cuz it sticks.

  • @welder4570 I had a fosgate p1 punch that cracked and i put clear nail polish on it and smoothed it out and it still sounds great but my crack was only like 1/4 inch

  • @welder4570 get some ultra gray silicon from a parts store and put on it

  • @welder4570 hey to awnser your question... not really it may sound a little muddy but not much you wont even notice it.

  • @welder4570 P3's and most RF punch subs are famous for this, it means too much excursion and the cone crackes under the load

  • @welder4570 put like apoxy or something on it so it dont spread. i had to do that

  • do they have ported boxes like thos?

  • build 1 ported box it will sound so much better than 2 seperate ones

  • do u think these sub will be okay to put under my front seat in a 2000 clk320?

  • @LebaneseStephen not under the seats in the trunk they will sound nice in a benz

  • @bkshine87 would it fit in the boot cause its a convertible nd there isnt much room in the trunk when the roof is down?

  • they ported

  • where did you get those boxes i need one for a pioneer shallow

  • Id try some tens in there instead

  • hey man just some advice to stop that loud pong!!!! pong!!!!! pong!!!! noise put some poleyester pillow stuffing in the boxes it makes cleaner bass

  • Hey bro get two tens i know bigger is better but in this case the two tens will sound deeper plus get a box where you can face them down that way your seats dont eat up the bass a bigger amp will be required cause your rms is prob low

  • what amp

  • u need bigger boxes.

    they cant move, theyre resricted.

  • Whats the "pingy" sound?

  • is your amp tuned?..just curious..and how many RMS do the subs have each?

  • yeah if i were you i'd build the boxes to be 1.5 cubes each. if you want separate ones like you have now. and i would go ported cause it seems like you have some good sounding speakers otherwise to pick up the "kick" but it's all up to you really.

  • Bro, those box's dont look like they're giving enough air flow...get two 10s..thats what i have in like the same truck just a 2001 lariat

  • i kno man im planning on building new ones... are ur boxes ported??

  • Nope, just get a bassworx, they build the exact box to fit under the seat,

  • @ninezerofour go ported trust . u in to like rap hiphop rnb dnb dubtep rock then defo do it

  • @ninezerofour i built two seprate boxes like both of you, i put two 10" kicker cvts they are really shallow and sound awesome. also put my amp in the middle lol i have a 2000 f 150

  • @ninezerofour did you get a ported box i have one and havent installed it yet and im wondering how its going to sound

  • @cbeck611 no i havent had time to put in new boxes but there still bumpin hard after 2 year great subs

  • @crazybmxer876 do they have ported boxes like these?

  • @blanblanboy50 im pretty sure you can buy ported boxes like the one i have, but im not sure. im not a fan of ported boxes with 10's

  • @crazybmxer876

you do realize that you can get the same sound from a small box as a big one so long as you follow the key rule, the smaller the box, the more power it takes to get sound. the bigger the box, the less power you need to produce sound. I have a friend who has a tiny ass 8 inch sub in a tiny box and it puts out like someone with 3 12's. Sure hes running an amazing amp, vs the guy with 3 12"s who has a lower power amp, but still.

  • @bastec666 Dude, sorry but an 8 inch sub cannot over power three 12's HAHAH dumbass, you cannot get the SAME sound from a smaller box, unless you can some how tune a smaller box to the sam amount of Hz as big box, which im quit sure isnt possible, my two tens can only beat two twelves, nothing more, and i have over all 5,000 watts, it doesnt beat any more then two twelve's so you're lying about your friends "8 inch" such beating three 12's

  • @crazybmxer876

ONE JL 8W7 has beaten all setups up to 3 12"s so far that he has went up against. He drives a lancer ralliart.

The smaller the box, the more power it takes to make sound, its basic knowledge. With less air behind the woofer it becomes harder to power it, requiring more power then is rated because its in the wrong box, same thing when you put a sub in a box too big, it takes even less power to make sound.

Go do some research. 12volt would be a nice place to start.

  • @crazybmxer876 also, show me an amp that does 5000watts RMS, your a fucking tool. get off the internet......

  • @bastec666 are you fucked in the head? there is a 500WATT amp

pushing the subs, and a 500 watt amp pushing the door speakers, annd 200 pushing the tweets in the doors, dumbass, thats more then 5,000 but go fuck your self you get off the internet with your 8 inch sub

  • @crazybmxer876 500+500+200=5000? go back to school brah. your so dumb.

  • @bastec666 lol, =P thats whats seeable, k, under the seat that the subs are under, is a 1000.1 and those 500 watts are powering the SUBS are in it at the moment, there is also a 2000.1 being added, so i was wrong, it will be 4,200

  • @bastec666

I don't know of too many amps that do 5kwrms, but a couple for you are the T15kw by Rockford Fosgate which does 7,500Wrms x 2 @ 1ohm, and the Kicker Warhorse which does 10,000Wrms x 1 @ 2ohms.

  • @crazybmxer876

Actually, people have run the JL8W7 to match the volume of three 12's. It really depends on the circumstances as well. Also, there's no such way of tuning a sealed box. That's not possible. You change the response of the system, but that's it. With that said, you can have a small ported enclosure tuned to the same frequency as a large ported enclosure. Tuning is based totally on the port, but small ported will be louder but large ported will sound cleaner, less turbulant.

  • @phattacorider You kow your stuff, But yeah, an 8 will pound, but if its in a sealed box i dont think it would have much...

  • @crazybmxer876

An 8" woofer in a sealed box wouldn't be much against three 12" woofers in a sealed enclosure, both run their optimal power in similar vehicles. However, if you change the circumstances, like put the 8" in a small pickup, ported, tuned to 40hz, run 500Wrms, against three 12's in a large SUV, sealed, run with 400Wrms, those would produce similar volumes. Vehicle size has a lot to do with what a subwoofer will read in terms of volume, along with parasitic loss.

  • @phattacorider Actually there is tunning of a sealed box i didint know etheir but you can tune a sealed box depending how big you make it

  • @toucandan8989

That's not tuning. For a given amount of power, a subwoofer will give more or less volume depending on the size of the enclosure, response chanracteristics will change as well, but that's not tuning.

  • @phattacorider o true

  • @crazybmxer876 Why don't you go look up the sundown 8". Two 8s did 149 dB on the dash sealed up. So yeah, 8s can beat 12s no problem.

  • does the bass sound clean?? i dont think the video does it justice.

  • @swagmonster22 Rockfords in a seadled box are amazingly clean... least my p1 15's in a sealed hatch back box in my 96 yukon was good... but i agree it doesnt sound clean here...

  • it doesnt! i have 2 of the same subs though they are in a bigger box and they kick hard! and yes they are very clean:)

  • cant hit lows good. there only for around 70hz because there shallow there aint much excursion.. meanin low nots dont hit as good

  • Nice setup sounds clean, one thing I've noticed with new rockford subs is that they are loud but they don't flex alot which is a good thing. Check out my vids

  • whats the first songt with the mario noises lmfao

  • What's the first song?

  • hm almost seems like somthing is wrong. or else those subs just suck

  • If your talking about that tinny sound, i think its the camera. Tons of other people the sub is great so i cant see it sounding it like that.

  • read description hust simple nothing huge fuck tard

  • where did you get them?

  • Just installed the same subs in my friends bmw

  • how does he like them

  • Dude, they are so tight.. Is a 300w amp enough for one 12" sub?? Im thinking about putting two in my f150
