I think DVD/film shoots kinda dullen the atmosphere of the whole show. Both shows in melbourne were just as electric and AMAZING as when ive ever seen him on the last few tours! its good they take breaks inbetween, so they dont flatten out again. Love Bon Jovi!

part of the reason they cant write the same "hard rock" stuff they're used to is cause john cant belt out EVERY song for 2 hours EVERY night anymore... so they have to have these filler songs for his voice to relax in between the old classics. plus, different times, less testosterone and aggression

In my opinion, Bon Jovi needs to either change Tico Torres for a younger drummer -so it will give the band a fresh new sound- or revitalize and demand more compromise to him. He has constant mistakes during the live performances and for this kind of hard-rock music, the band really needs the 80's-96 Tico Torres freshness. Just check out earlier live shows and you will note the difference. In the other hand Richie, Dave and the rest are ok. Note i'm a big Bon Jovi fan since like forever.
