How did you mic this man, i can't any close mics and everything sounds clear as a bell?

@drumbody I use 1 small diaphragm condenser over my kit and I have 1 wide diaphragm mic a foot or so behind my floor Tom pointing down at a 45 degree angle towards the floor Tom. I also did a bit of video EQing in GarageBand.

@chriskiefer79 Thanks my godfather gave it to me....I never really use it as a main snare but when I first got this snare I was testing it out in this video,man in the mirror and bad....

I really need to change the head....lol

Hey,SuperDrummerJoe sorry for the late response.....About the Soultone opportunity, I was just checking out their youtube page and I sent them a email asking them about their cymbals and I told them I like the way they sounded especially their hi-hats.....we kept talking and a opportunity for a endorsement came up....Luckilly I was good enough for a chance to represent this company :)

I was using 14'' barrowed Zildjian Quick beat hi-hats but now I use soultone cymbals and I have 13'' Soultone Custom Sizzle hi-hats now (I'm endorsed by Soultone now)

I only used 2 condenser mics.....They're not matched pairs though

I have one AKG Perception 150 over the kit to pick up the higher toms,snare,crash and hi-hat

and a Sterling Audio ST51 FET behind the rim the last floor tom to pick up the floor toms,bass drum and snare
