I have to say, this video really blew my mind! You edited it perfectly! I've always been a fan of Queensryche and this song is one of my all-time favorites. Great vision for a great song!
awsome work on the vid. its a shame that less than 50k people have viewed it. and 2 nerds dissliked it. the quality of your vid is so good that it was the end of the vid before i realized it was your work, not queensryches'. thanks for uploading
The Ryche kicks serious ass! Nothing Pink Floyd, Rush, or Dream Theater did can compare to Chris DeGarmo's guitar work / songwriting, and Geoff Tate's vocals. Lets see someone on American Idol do this!
Tates' vocals and DeGarmos' understanding of symphonic orchestral music stand alone. Operation Mindcrime was the first operatic metal. Tate sings with such passion and emotion. Nothing Pink Floyd, Rush or Dream Theater did can compare to Rage For Order or Operation Mindcrime! Queensryche crushed everyone then, and now!
I'm completely fan of this period, from the first EP to Mindcrime. After that... not that convinced... Check the vids of my project, I play a small solo on the song Starchild where I use some theme from this song (Hush now...). I asked Geoff to be featured on the album but...he's a star ;)
Bands like Dream Theater probably slept listening to songs like this one when they were kids, hoping that one day they would be able to play like this. Excellent... no words for it.
I really love this song! and in this one you can hear the what Geoff can do with his voice! Great! I really love this vid also! greatings from Holland
Absolutely outstanding! I love this song, possibly my favourite queensryche song, and your video makes it even better. Excellent editing there. You rock!
G-d I love this band! Geoff's vocals just rip on this song! Yeah it'd be so cool if DeGarmo were to rejoin. Best guitar-work right here with this band (hands down) IMHO. Nobody... but nobody has put together guitar compositions that can rival some of this stuff that Wilton-DeGarmo did, IMO. Serious talent. Speed metal s*cks. Melodius & Harmonius compositionus crushes it.
This is outstanding!! I've actually had this on my myspace page for a really long time. I lost it a while back when I updated, so glad I found it again. You really did an incredible job on the video!! Love it. One of my favorite bands of all time, I remember when this album came out and actually have a cassette sleeve that has a blue ring on it instead of black. Great song, too hard for me to pick a fav off this album, this ones up there, but they're all killer!!!
@fundy76 Tates' vocals and DeGarmos' understanding of symphonic orchestral music stand alone. Operation Mindcrime was the first operatic metal. Tate sings with such passion and emotion. Nothing Pink Floyd, Rush or Dream Theater did can compare to Rage For Order or Operation Mindcrime! Queensryche crushed everyone then, and now!
excellent video bro. I dont think the band could have made a better video for this song, Do you take requests? if so make one for Legacy by Iron Maiden
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
this is a crazy ass song!! really ahead of its time for a metal song- this song screams to be remixed with present day digital techno beats- imagine that!!
If you like this song, check out the rest of Queensryche's catalog. It's pretty awesome. I recommend Queen of the Ryche, the entire Operation: Mindcrime album (you could look at part II as well, but, it's not as good as teh first one), The Warning album, and the Rage for Order album. I think Rage for Order is where this song comes from...but...I could be wrong! hahaha
this is definitely one of the most under rated QR albums. every song has such kickass lyrics and music, much more artistic than basically any other band from eighties. I love how the guitar solo just explodes in this song.
This such a great song. This whole record was TOTAL headphone stoner-trip foreshadowing a great number of things on their way. What the fuck happened to this band where this kind of creativity just got pushed to the side, or got lost? What a shame.
Screaming in digital is by one omy favourite sons by QR. Geoff's vocals are at their best in this album as well~~~!!! Chills hell gives me chicken skin~!!(goosebumps from hell)
Wonderful video! The images are perfect. You are very skilled at editing for music. The themes of the song are matched with very appropriate visual cues. Bravo.
i just read "electric church" by jeff sommers (freakin awesome debut novel!) and this band was in my head and makes the perfect background music. jeff must have thought of this song when he created the monk characters in this novel (cyborg killing machines with human brain as CPU, imprisoned and centrally controlled by the electric church).

@ xurc42 -Saw "Rage" at the Santa Monica Civic! One of my faves off of the Album (and its predacessor "NM156") and seen them up till 3 years ago. "Promised Land" is a VERY underated album and the show was like a stage play even more so than Mindcrime! Nice Vid RycheNNole -MAVIII(progulus. c o m)

WOW! That was amazing!!!! I LOVE this album __RAGE FOR ORDER__ Top all time favorite. I would go to bed with headphone ever night for years listening to this. Thanks for one of the BEST videos on youtube to a GREAT BAND and SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It has also been the first album of them for me. The first song I ever heard was " Chemical Youth " on BBC-radio. It´s so long ago, that I just hardly can believe it. You know those times where you´ve been sitting next to your radio and trying to record all the cool stuff on tape. Music has been a little more meaning then. Nowadays...in that time of sharing Mp3´s, we all tend to consume and not really listen to music. Technology is a always both a blessing and a curse.
This is a very well put together video for this song. However, i am looking for the original video which i have only seen once at one of the Queensryche concerts.
This would be perfect as the "official" video for this song. Rage will always be my favorite Ryche album.
