Don't think they lip-synced this one. It's different from the studio version, though not much — they're just tight. Besides, hard to pretend to play the drums when you're hitting the cymbals. Good musicians, not just a slick stage product.
@BongMcPuffin Yes this is 100% lip syncing...mostly everyone lip synced back in the day...Thanks to Milli Vanilli, everyone is expected to really sing now when they perform.
Now you see, this is REAL MUSICIANS PLAYING REAL INSTRUMENTS! These idiots today don't know how to play a key let alone spell one. All they do today is grind on the floor & talk about how much they getting, What happened to this good fun. DANCE. MUSIC. ENJOYING THE FUNK.
@Joy77 Those were the best times.... Late '70's -- living for the disco & funk. I still go out, but it's nowhere near the same anymore. Young people, most of them, don't even care about dancing anymore. Sad.
HELL YES BRICK SOME BAD ASS CATS MOTHA FUCKAS ON THE ONE. FUNK IN IT'S PRIME WHAT I CALL BOOGA NOSE FUNK AND WHEN I HEAR IT MY LEGS AND FEET HAVE A MIND OF THERE OWN MAKES ME WANT TO MOVE. WE ARE SOUTHERN CAL
I'm a big fan of rap, and artists like Outkast kind of hold onto that silliness and fun that made this music so timeless. It's the wankers who sing to the oppressed masses and tell them to pack a piece and glorify mindless violence who are wrecking things. I enjoy gangsta rap, but perhaps it's artists like eminem who really show up rap for what it is, a massive industry which has bottled and sells the poverty cycle, so kids "can identify with it". Bring fun back to music!!
@DaddySinister Notice that the lead guitarist is playing one of my favorite guitars and that is a Gibson Les Paul! These guys can really play! Wouldn't you say?
the bassline /sax hook on this is just VICIOUS (and I mean that in the best way possible)

Don't this feel good y'all. Real music. We know they played the instruments. That horn player had about 4 on the stage. I'm about to play Dazz!

They lip-synched this one... this sounds EXACTLY like the studio album version. I doubt they were even really playing their instruments either...

This is the reason why so many rappers of today like to sample music from back in the day because it sounds so goooooooood.
