I have been reading these posts and I must say that it is not a matter of judging. Jesus said a tree is known by the fruit it bears. I am pro youth, and I believe the youth are taking the forefront in this last day move of God. I am far from being narrow minded,and as liberal as they come, but I teach our young people as we go from place to place that no matter how popular it may be, there are some things you just don't do in church.

There are a lot of practices have been brought into the church in the name of he that winneth souls is wise. We are told that we can have fun in the church. Jesus never told us to have fun. Fun depends on the circumstances you are in, but the joy of the Lord is your strength. I don't always feel ike having fun, but I have joy everlasting. We don't need the practices of the world to promote the kingdom of God. We can lift up Jesus in such a way that we can reach the young as well as the old.

We are to test the spirits of the people and the spirit of the children are of God so the dancing is of God. "There is nothing new under the sun." So that dancing was probably done in another country as a war dance. Remember shouting is a form of a radical dance in the spirit of God...they probably prayed and fasted. I am so glad that they are worshipping the Lord. David did a crazy dance and the people that complained were in the wrong. Ask God for guidance, not your own judgement. God bless.

I wonder how we would feel if every time we were praising God somebody posted it on youtube and let "the saints" judge whether or not God was in the praise. I've seen this type of dancing before done in churches that I've been to with the young people and there is nothing wrong with it. It is God who looks on the heart... and in this video some may be rockin' in praise, while some may be rockin' in pride. But the same is true of the deacons in the middle of the isle doing the "church shout" - dances like these (non sensual or suggestive) aren't really the issue here. It is a matter of the Heart that God will judge. It's up to us as individuals to use righteous judgment on ourselves and see if our motives are pure in our praise (singing, dancing, or anything else)
