Take Congressional CORRUPTION and Special Interest favoritism OUT of Medicare, and Medicare will be just fine.

The problem with Congress and Medicare, is that Congress has added provision into the plan that assure the wealth of those providing service, as the sacrific of those receiving the services. The Medicare Part-D Drug plan FORBIDE Medicare providers from negotiating for the best possible drug prices.s They simply have to pay the going rate.

What that means is that Part-D serves the Drug Companies, to the detriment of the drug recipients. CORRUPTION, plan and simple.

Medicare is NOT UNFUNDED. Every person on Medicare pay a insurance premium for that service, in addition to paying into Medicare for their entire working life. The same is true of Medicare Part D - Drug pan, it is INSURANCE, everyone who has it pays an ADDITIONAL insurance premium to get drug coverage.

Further, Medicare is no Cadillac insurance plan, each member must pay 20% out of their pocket for medical services. Even with Medicare, you can be driven into bankruptcy from medical expenses.
