i know what you mean. i have been a fan sinse 2002 and i am so happy for him that he is getting so big... but you cant help get mad at those people who have only heard im yours and then backtrack and call themselves true fans. i totally agree!

I was never a "fan" of Jason until I'm Yours. Actually, what happened was my boyfriend took me to meet Mraz who was the nicest guy in the world, and invited us to his show on his personal guest list. I didn't mind his earlier radio songs, but that's all I had heard. Now I own every album. I hardly think that makes me not a "true" fan, just because I didn't bother before? Sometimes people don't get turned on to things for whatever reason. Just be happy for his success. He's got lots of fans now!

His old stuff is SO much better than the new stuff, don't get me wrong the new CD is really good it just doesn't seem to have the same energy as these early shows or the first CD. Mr. A-Z was okay but again, it seemed more mellow and restrained while Waiting for my Rocket to Come was just bursting with energy :)
