  • hey man that was sorta confusing you think you could give me the chords?

  • Why is there no Good Riddance picking on the ukulele video it isn't that hard?!?

  • Your'e really great! :D It's so easy to play these chords. If you search after tabs on google, you always get these comlicated chords, but you make it so easy ^^

I got an ukulele for Christmas this year (a red one ofc) and i LOVE your torturals <3 Keep on making more!

  • We've been taught how to play this song in Ukulele.

    And it's G-G-C-D, Em-D-C-G, Em-G-Em-G-Em-D-G.

  • what kind of uke do you have?

  • I'm having real troubles =[

I tuned my ukulele using an online tuner, and the seperate notes sound exactly as they do on the tuner, but when I try to play a chord, it sounds bloody awful.

    Any ideas?

  • @ragdolltwisty make sure you are tuning it to GCEA for this song. I recomend buying a tuner instead of listening to something online, it works a little better. :)

    good luck

  • Can someone list down the chords please..

  • for Em, why does it look like your pinky is on the g string? it should be on the c string, right?

  • I can't understand, what is following the C? Sounds like your saying D but it doesn't look right. G - C - ? -

    Thanks

  • @TheZensatori yeah, it's D

  • Hey, this is awesomeee :) sounds great, my ukulele sounds all plastic-ishh and no where near as nice as yours, its a black Mahalo onee, what type of uke is your one? :)

  • strum pattern?

  • @Skelley4 He goes over that. d-d-u-u-d

  • wow awesome lesson thanks!

  • how do i play d

  • standard tuning?

  • always =)

  • @scottydrpepper I got a Ukulele today, and the tuning Goes GCEA , But the G is higher pitch than the A .. is that how it should be?

  • I've never seen that before. Standard tuning has the G one step lower than the A (if you play the 2nd fret of the G string it will be the same pitch as the A string).

A few questions to help me:

    1. Is your G the highest pitched string?

    2. Is your A the second highest string?

    3. What method did you use to tune your ukulele?

  • @scottydrpepper dont worry i got it now, its tuned and sounds ace =D

  • @rachb0p — YES, it IS how it should be. It's called reentrant tuning and is standard on soprano and concert ukuleles and many tenor ukuleles. Some tenor players will opt for a lower tuning on the G, but the high G is standard. Look for ''reentrant tuning'' on Wikipedia and also the article on ukulele. As it says in the article, the smaller the ukulele, the more likely it will have a high 4th string.

  • 28 canadian dollars for mine :D its a crappy green denver uke, but great to start on!

i decided it was best to buy a cheap one so if i were to quit playing i wouldnt have forked out alot of money for it!

  • @TheDivineAberration i have a Orange Sunburst Les Paul cut Acoustic uku...

  • a toy ukulele would be fine ($20ish), as long as its tuned right and make sure you have extra strings

  • what kind of ukulele do you have? because I have the tenor, the chords are kinda different.

  • it all depends how much youre willing to spend i payed $80 for mine and it was my starter uke it was fairly cheap

  • great vid man tho another thing you could add is the tuning in case theres some one learning with a ukulele set in an other tuning and getting confused when it doesnt sound right :)

  • obviously its g-c-e-a ;)
