Sign... is English your native language? idol = a representation or symbol of an object of worship.
If statues of Jesus or Buddha are worshiped then they are idols.
Since there is no risk of non-Muslims worshiping their drawings of Muhammad there is no risk of idolatry... which again is the original reason for the Islamic ban on drawing Muhammad.
PS
How can someone as mentally lacking as yourself get off attacking others of a lake of intelligence.
It is not possible for a human being to be an idol... LOL... what about statues of Jesus and Buddha?
Maybe you should do some more research on Islam? Muhammad is considered the most perfect man by Muslims. In any case showing this reverence for a man and getting so freaked out by non-Muslims drawing him is going against the purpose of banning the making of his image in the first place.
1. The reason why originally depicting Mohammad was forbidden in Islam was so that Mohammad would not be treated as an idol, so that Muslims would not be temped to worship him. It had nothing to do with respecting Mohammad.
2. This Muslim freaking out at non-Muslims drawing Mohammad raises Mohammad above all other men. Because Mohammad is above all other men, this is similar to treating him as an idol. Got it?

A Muslim informed me that the reason why the depiction of Muhammad is forbidden is because images of Muhammad promote idolatry. Muslims shouldn't object to editorial cartoons and "Draw Muhammad Day" depictions which demean Muhammad because they are unlikely to be worshipped.
But the images in your video that come from Muslim sources were produced by people who do worship Muhammad. They attempt to show Muhammad in a positive way which I suppose could encourage idol worship.
From what I understand the ban on depictions of Muhammad within Islam is relatively new.
To my way of thinking objecting against negative depictions of Muhammad is in fact a form of idolatry. Muhammad is so beloved so wonderful so perfect that he is the one and only human that cannot be made fun of in cartoon form. If Muhammad was not really worshiped by Muslim, if in fact Muslims did not treat Muhammad as an idol then there would be no problem with Muhammad cartoons.
