I had a suggestion for you guys. When you put the strum pattern on the screen, have you considered using arrows rather than words? Besides the fact that it could help to branch the lessons out to non english speaking students, I'm convinced that simple symbols are faster for the brain to process than words. I'd be interested to see if others would prefer it if you tried simple up and down arrows rather than writing the words out. Just trying give back.
haha ... yeah I was kind of thinking the same thing ... kind of Kevin Bacon with a flatter version of Bon Jovi's hair!!
Good lesson by the way. I'm a newbie on guitar, and I like to do sort of what you were talking about. I just practice different chords I know and randomizing (well inside of basic theory) the order of chords. I have accidentally learned big chunks of a couple pretty famous songs by doing so.
Hey Tim , Its Benny. Just to say thanks for ALL of your videos . You dont have to but you take the time to do so and thanks a million. Its true though . for some reason in the last couple of videos the sound is coming out dominant out of the left side of the speakers on my pc. its not happeneing with the previous videos just about the last 3. keep the goods coming. benny
i wish you wouldnt keep trying to get hits on your website by not showing the chords and making people go on the site. A good lesson shows the finger positions in the video.
Thanks, good lesson, you should be teaching my dad because he plays all that rythem stuff but can only play a few songs.. you should teach us about bar chords some time
AAAAAAAAA your high E is out of tune!

Thanks, Tim. Strum patterns are under-rated in terms of difficulty, at least for us beginners. Really helped me - Good lesson!
