I've seen both bands live in concert and trust me when I say Take That were FAR, FAR better than Boyzone. I loved Take That when they were out, and I liked Boyzone too (but never as much as I did with Take That). When I saw Boyzone play, their concert (including encore) lasted only 1 hr 20 minutes, whereas anytime I've seen Take That, they've always played well over 2 hrs, sometimes nearly 2 and half hours. They put on a much better show.

My friend was also at both concerts and we both felt the same - Boyzone are much better. Clearly it is a case of personal choice and opinion but I realy think that slagging Boyzone off should perhaps be saved for a more apporpriate time - ie, not when they're in the process of burying one of their friends and bandmates - just a thought.

I never slagged Boyzone off and never would (I had posters of them all over my walls when I was younger and have their greatest hits) but I were merely stating my own opinion that I prefered Take That (and still do!). I actually wasn't getting at you - but seen as you've decided to take offence that's fine. You don't particularly seem to slag them off but others have. However, I don't particularly think there was any need for you to rant - especially since I wasn't referring to you - only referral to you was that I also went to both concerts. This report obviously forgot to say that the venue was actually advertising that the concert was sold out!!! So even if people wanted to get tickets they couldn't!!! So thats the problem with the venue not the boys!!! Same happened with manchester saying it was sold out when it wasn't!! So people should ask why the venues are doing this!

ITN should have been at the O2 gig on Monday night - it was a fantastic crowd and the venue was pretty much packed out. Boyzone were in their element and put on an amazing show.

I hate it when people compare Take That and Boyzone - they are two different bands and who cares if one is maybe more successful than the other??? Get over it really...

I love Boyzone, they are fab now they are back - but they cant shake the stigma placed on them by the press (like this ITN crap).

i was at the boyzone show in liverpool and this isnt as accurate as itn would have you believe. the top back tiers were empty but there was still about 8000 people there . it didnt make any difference at all! boyzone still worked their asses off and put on an amazing show! they have the charm and personality to to be able to totaly entertain. i cerainly wasnt dissapointed . i loved evey minute! and i'll tell u all right now - if they come back the l'pool arena - then i'll be there too!!!

Maybe that would be like comparing Take That to the Backstreet Boys or NSync who were performing at the same time. Both of these bands have double or maybe even tripled the amount of albums that Take That has sold which does not really make Take That so great. Does it? I mean if we are going to be drawing comparisons they don't even register at all with just a few million albums sold to over 100 million and over 80 million. That is if we are comparing bands and successes.

BSB and NSync are American, thier bound to sell more albums. Speak to BSB or NSync too, they'll admit to having admiration and respect for Take That, they are more respected and have unquestionably had the most succesful comback.
