Yolanda Adams is a Gospel Singer (and Minister/preacher), so if you only listen to R&B/Soul music you wouldn't know about her. There are lots of gospel singers who can out-sing Christina A., Beyonce, Mariah Carey, etc...They sing for the Lord, though. Rev. Kim Burrell (currenlty the best gospel singer in the world) is way better than Yolanda Adams, and she was also Beyonce's vocal coach. Most good singers copy Burrell's riffs and runs.
