Yeah, SHUT UP is important word in learning English, It's in English after all. But if this is University, the (professor) suppose to do some research about the meaning of the word before teaching? unless he/she doesn't care.

An English class I went visit even tought students the "F" word. They thought it was funny word. Of course, in Laos no body cares whatever word you used as long as it's not in Lao language.

I realize there are different levels of English proficiency; but the whole scene --- THIS whole scene here --- looked more like a bad acting class, not a first calibre college/university setting for English training...

and these were probably some of the more affluent and/or better students, to be taking English classes like this?
