If you took a regular Filipino, Laotion, Indonesia, Thai, Malay, Vietnamese, etc, and put them in Sams' Club or Wal-mart, or any many of out stores that large, they would get lost and confused and not like it. I've seen this happen. "Why do Americans need to eat this much." "This store could fee my whole country." Why are thre 200 kinds of cereal? Don't destroy a traditional way of life.
A new generation of shoppers? Certainly not in that original country you were filming at! Where is this "modern" grocery store? Certainly not anywhere in the same town as that market. What's the purpose of showing the traditional market? To show its presumed inferiority compared to the white, bright store? Everyone time I see thsi commercial I wanna shoot the screen. And that white man's voice pisses me off completely. Why did they choose that "darker" music in the beginning?
