  • Exactly. I kept it open once the slide started but soon found myself (what felt like) quite sideways, it was then that I bottled it and closed the throttle...

Afterwards I thought I should have just kept it open, but like you say easier said then done.

  • cold tires suck... if u hadnt let off the throttle it might have corrected itself, if not u would have lowsided instead. but thats easier said than done right:)

  • lol 1000 cc's will do that.

  • Yup, combination of cold tyres and too much throttle. The bike didn't come off too bad, gave me good reason to rebuild it. I'll put up a vid of what it looks like now at some stage.

  • that bike okay...? did that bike suffer any injuired..?

  • I bet ur bike look real nice before the crash

  • Yeah be easy on the throttle coming out the turns but that really suck that you crash your bike, I bet it look nixe

  • AY YI YI! Easy on the throttle!

  • Ouch, bummer that you highsided, woulda been better for the bike if it had just layed down.

  • I love the other skid marks doing precisely the same thing!

  • WOW WAY TOO MUCH POWER!! i hope all is ok!!

  • LEAN THE MACHINE,,,, great vid

  • Shot, I've seen you performing out at Ruapuna and spied you on KiwiBiker - You fuckin' own man!

  • OOOOO i bet that 1 was bad

  • Worse for the bike than me. Gave me an excuse to build a Lucky Strike RGV500 rep! I walked away with bruising and a headache.

  • @oab1000 wow ur incredibly luck dude....got picks of the new bike :-)
