Phil is awesome and his reviews are great and better than most of the others online.

(sorry if i offend) but HE DOESN'T just PLAY SLEEPWALK FOR 10 MINUETS.

This is a very nice review because i don't fall asleep half way through because some guy is monotonously playing the same G-C-D progression the whole video and the only thing that every changes the whole time is the pickup he is using.

I like his Phil reviews because I know now that the guitar can do more than Rockabilly, and he is fun.

I think you're misreading him. You mention how he downplays his talent or playing when he is clearly a good guitarist.

I think it's plausible that he is simply humble&doesn't like to appear like he thinks he's hot shit.

Personally, i find someone who puffs out their chest&goes on about how good they are more annoying&deserving of an attack than someone who simply says that he's not special&even makes fun of himself. I've actually heard him tell the editor to leave his mistakes in.

Most likely he has that near perfect pitch, and can translate music instantly while hearing it.
