I think peoples should try the combo a little... you know what... I have tried for 3 hours and I was unable to land 3 hit in a row at all.

Also, there is no infinite damage, just a stun at some point. Think whatever you want, but El stamina is the worst after Seth. I admit after some pratice that El Fuerte is easily the strongest character in the game, his plunge can be spammed until the end of the fight without any worries if you know what to do >:P

@dunmerdude then u must have played against very weak fuertes... cuz if yuo keep jumping at some point you would get grab mid air... and if that doesnt work you can measure the jump and sweep the character when landing on the floor

i play with el fuerte... and it's annoying ppl that play with characters like ken, ryu, akuma, dan, sagat ar any other fighters that only keep throwing special powers like the hadoken in one coner...

It's done by pressing Hard Punch when close, Canceling into his Habanero Dash, press Light Punch to stop the run and then starting the whole process over from the beginning, starting with the Hard Punch when close.

at the point i got the 7 reps off id have been practicing it for only about an hour

you come from smash where its not execution based at all where i come from mvc2 where you have to learn combos MUCH more difficult than this with a multitude of characters

I don't think actually realize, that 'infinite' is harder to do than it looks.

Not to mention, Akuma takes more stun/damage than most of the cast. SF has always been about picking and playing characters that have good match ups against others. Just because Akuma has a hard time with EF, doesn't mean everyone else will and vice versa.

Well, its Street Fighter. It's going to be bashed just for being popular. But for every complaint there are 20 praises. The game will be a classic. In comparison, the KOF franchise as a whole is a classic, but no single game stands out as the definitive version. They are all broken, glitchy, un-polished games that happen to be fun.

Every arcade in Japan has SFIV and thats what everyone is playing it. If it was a bad game, no one would be playing it.

2009 Evo will descide if it is fair or not. Third Strike was broken in a sense (character tiers, yuns sa3 volley) . In the end I was a hard core capcom fan who moved onto Arc System Works and SNK. Fuerte's dizzy combo may not be infinite, but it is close, and if other characters don't have such an advantage, then it is technically a cheap character flaw.

Third Strike was broken in more than just a sense, but then again pretty much every Capcom game has been. They simply don't balance their fighters in any meaningful way for high levels of play, but they have enough hardcore fanboys that I guarantee this unpolished, ugly, awkward and slow game will be considered a "classic" because of the name, and because competitive players of all genres don't like depth beyond twitch reflex for some reason (look at Counter-Strike, Quake 3, and Starcraft).

Understandable. I hate DP too, I don't understand why there's no air block or air parries in the game, I think it's a little overpowering for the shoto's.

Otherwise, the game is pretty beautiful and from outside it seems fairly balanced. Fuerte might have that chain or "infinite" but honestly he takes damage like a little girl so, y'know...whatever.

Why does this video show the game sucks?

Capcom have responded to this video stating it's not an infinite combo and El Fuerte is currently the weakest character in the game. I think the game looks awesome and this video proves nothing.

Right, there doesn't seem to be anything infinite about the combo. His opponent escapes it several times in the course of the two rounds. I didn't count more than 4 punches chained together. There's nothing remarkable about this video at all.
