The guys who build the DC system are from Trust the Vote – an anti-Internet voting group. Yet, DC hired THEM! With their attitude they are surely going to do sloppy work, like leave passwords and voter info out for hackers to get to. One guy on Slashdot says the job was set up to fail. The person at DC who gave these guys the contract should be retrained immediately. (This is my edit of my prior comment)
Anyone else who has put up an internet voting system should offer a good, lengthy, well-publicized testing period, explicitly inviting white-hats to break in. If it's secure, you'll get decent publicity. If not...
